Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus that enables printed products to be removed from a sheet processing apparatus such as a stacker at time scheduled by an operator.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus connected to a sheet processing device including a stacking tray to ascend and descend in response to the stacking of a printed product and ejecting the printed product to the stacking tray includes: a receiving means for receiving setting of time for moving the stacking tray from the stacking tray to a predetermined position where a user can remove the printed product; and a control means for moving the stacking tray to the predetermined position based on the setting of the time.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein curling of paper is generated to cause jamming when image forming is performed on ordinary paper by using high viscosity recording liquid, or wherein an image surface is scrubbed before drying to deteriorate the quality of a printed article. SOLUTION: As a carrying path of paper 5 carried from a sub scanning carrying portion 3, first to third carrying paths 401a, 401b, 401c constituting a plurality of carrying paths 401 are provided. The first to the third carrying paths 401a, 401b, 401c are equipped with carrying rollers 171 and 172, 173 and 174, 175 and 176 for vertically restraining and carrying the paper 5; and spurs 177 and 178, 179 and 180, 181 and 182 respectively opposite to those carrying rollers 171 to 176, and equipped with branching plates 404, 405 distributing the paper 5 into the first to the third carrying paths 401a, 401b, 401c. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet alignment apparatus capable of performing vertical and horizontal alignment almost at the same time and also at the same position and capable of forming an image without impairing productivity, and to provide an image forming system equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A sheet alignment apparatus includes: a sheet storage section for storing sheets; a sheet push-up means for conveying the sheets in the sheet discharge direction; a sheet discharge means composed of a pair of forwardly and reversely rotatable rollers configured to align the sheets in the sheet discharge direction between them and the sheet push-up means and to then discharge the sheets by sandwiching the sheet in the nip between the pair of rollers; and a sheet width direction alignment means arranged between the sheet storage section and the sheet discharge means and configured to align the sheets in the sheet width direction perpendicular to the sheet discharge direction while the sheets are stored in the sheet discharge means until discharged. The sheet discharge means causes the reverse rotation of the pair of rollers so as to separate the edge of the sheet in the sheet discharge direction from the nip before the lateral alignment performed by the sheet width direction alignment means.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer easily solving a jam of a print medium. SOLUTION: A printer 1 for both-side printing includes a register roller 21, a belt transfer part 22, a printing part 3 configured to print an image on a print sheet PA while transferring the print sheet PA by a register motor and a belt motor, a transfer part 4 located downstream the print sheet 3 in a transfer route (regular route) RC and configured to transfer the print sheet PA by transfer rollers 31 and 32, and a controller 8 configured to control the printing part 3 and the transfer part 4. The controller 8 is configured to stop the register roller 21, the belt transfer part 22, the register motor and the belt motor prior to the transfer rollers 31 and 32 of the transfer part 4 upon detection of the jam of the print sheet PA.
