Abstract:
A two-component coating system contains a sulfonate group-containing polyisocyanate (A) and an amino functional polyasparate of formula (I). A two-component coating system contains a sulfonate group-containing polyisocyanate (A) and an amino functional polyasparate of formula (I). X : n-valent organic group formed by removing primary amino groups from n-valent polyamine; R1>,R2>organic groups inert to isocyanate groups under reaction conditions;and n : 2 or more. An independent claim is included for coating formed by above coating system. [Image]
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition for forming a polyurea coating, extremely quickly curable compared with compositions known by conventional technique and, nevertheless, having comparable or longer potlife. SOLUTION: The two-component coating composition for forming a polyurea coating comprises (A) a polyisocyanate containing sulfonate group and (B) an amino-functional polyaspartate expressed by formula I (where in X is an n-valent organic group obtained by removing primary amino groups from an n-valent polyamine; R 1 and R 2 are each independently an organic group inert to isocyanate group under the reaction condition; and n is an integer of ≥2). Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a composition containing a polyorthoester and/or a bicyclo orthoester group such that it is no longer necessary to add the acid catalyst separately and without any loss in storage stability. SOLUTION: A binder composition comprises a sulphonate-functional polyisocyanate and one or more polyorthoester and/bicyclo orthoester groups which are either chemically bonded to the sulphonate-functional polyisocyanate or present in admixture with the sulphonate-functional polyisocyanate. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a plastic lens transparent and less discolored, having a higher refractive index and Abbe's number without largely affecting fundamental properties such as mechanical strength and impact resistance, and a plastic lens. SOLUTION: The method for producing the plastic lens comprises a step of mixing (a) a prepolymer, (b) a compound having an epithio group and ≥98% purity sulfur substantially free of impurities with ≤120°C boiling point to obtain a mixed solution (a mixture X), and a step of mixing (c) a catalyst in the mixture X. Abstract:
A dispersed ingredient having metal-oxygen bonds which is obtained by hydrolyzing a metal alkoxide in an organic solvent in the absence of an acid, a base, and/or a dispersion stabilizer, either with 0.5 to less than 1 mol of water per mol of the metal alkoxide or at -20 DEG C or lower with 1.0 to less than 2.0 mol of water per mol of the metal alkoxide. In the organic solvent, the dispersed ingredient is stably dispersed without aggregating. Use of the dispersed ingredient enables a thin metal oxide film and a homogeneous organic/inorganic composite to be produced at a temperature as low as 200 DEG C or below.
