PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely mount PCI cards without using a cassette.SOLUTION: A housing 12 of an electronic apparatus includes a back plane on which one part is retreated so as to form a step portion. PCI card slots are opened in the back plane and accommodate PCI cards 30 in a horizontal state, respectively. A relay substrate 16 includes connectors 16c each connected with a connector 32 of each PCI card 30 when the PCI cards are inserted into the PCI card slots. Openings 12b are formed on a side face 12A of the step portion of the housing 12 so that a bracket 34 of each PCI card 30 is exposed to the outside in a state in which the PCI cards 30 are inserted in the PCI card slots.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield structure of an electronic element, which can improve ESD resistance of the electronic element, and to provide an electronic device. SOLUTION: The shield structure 310 includes a ground pattern 5 arranged on a substrate 2 and a first metal fitting 6 which has conductivity, covers the electronic element 4 loaded on the ground pattern 5 and is connected to the ground pattern 5. The shield structure 310 includes a second metal fitting 20 which has conductivity, is brought into contact with a casing 101 of the electronic device 300 having the electronic element 4 inside and is brought into contact with the ground pattern 5 and the first metal fitting 6, and a third metal fitting 30 installed on a back plate 21. In the electronic element 4, SG (Signal Ground) is performed by face connection to the ground pattern 5 in addition to pin connection, and ESD resistance improves. Potential of the first metal fitting 6 is made to be the same as the casing 101 of the electronic device 300 becoming FG (Frame Ground) via the second metal fitting 20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch/latch mechanism whose installation area is small and used for hot insersion/extraction of a PCI card or the like without needing an opening causing electromagnetic interference leakage. SOLUTION: A paddle switch 232 is mounted on a second switch wall 224 of a switch housing 138 and mounted on a second partition part 142 of a partition 132. The paddle switch 232 has a flag arm 622 and is rotatable between a rock normal operation position engaging with a positioning pin 218 and a blocking position not engaging with it. A door bell switch 228 is so mounted on the switch wall 224 as to be movable between a normal extension use position (refer to Figure 2) and a compression position where a lip 236 abuts on the switch wall 224. When an operator moves the paddle switch 232 and the bell switch 228, an system responds to it so as to allow hot insersion/extraction of the card by detecting the insertion and extraction of the card through optical switch members 400 and 402.
