PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a laser oscillation threshold by efficiently exciting a light-emitting body in a solid-state dye laser with light having high density, thereby facilitating oscillation of laser beams, and to miniaturize a solid-state dye laser including an excitation light source. SOLUTION: The solid-state dye laser can oscillate laser beams by efficiently introducing light from the excitation light source to the light-emitting body incorporated in an optical resonator structure and exciting the light-emitting body with light with high density. Specifically, the solid-state dye laser includes a first light emitting body which receives light from the excitation light source and emits the light, and an optical resonator arranged adjacently to the first light emitting body. The optical resonator includes a second light emitting body for receiving the light emitted by the excitation light source and first light emitting body, and emitting the light. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid dye DFB laser having a grating composed of moire interference fringes. SOLUTION: A solid dye DFB laser element 110 includes a laser medium 114 containing an organic dye, and a distributed feedback type resonating means. The resonating means includes a third grating composed of moire interference fringes created by mutually overlapping first and second gratings 112 and 113 that are formed in different directions. Such a third grating composed of moire interference fringes is formed by emitting exposure laser onto a photoresist through two-beam-interference exposure, and then turning a board at a given angle and emitting the laser onto the photoresist again.
