摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively and inexpensively produce hydrogen peroxide by reacting carbon monoxide, oxygen and water in an organic solvent immiscible with water in the presence of such a catalyst complex as to comprise palladium salt, non-coordinating organic or inorganic acid, and a ligand bondable with a specific palladium atom. SOLUTION: This method comprises: dissolving into 1 l of organic solvent immiscible water an organic solvent-soluble catalyst carrier comprising 0.001 to 0.5 mol. of palladium salt, non-coordinating organic or inorganic acid, and a ligand bondable with palladium atom of a monodentate or multidentate nitrogenized compound and having (1:1) to (60:1) molecular ratio of acid to palladium; adding carbon monoxide of >=1 atom and oxygen to the organic solvent so that a molecular ratio of the carbon monoxide to oxygen may be (1:99) to (12:88) and a volumetric ratio of water to the organic solvent may be (30:70) to (70:30); reacting the mixture at -20 to 100 deg.C for 15 min. to 10 hrs.; separating a water phase containing hydrogen peroxide and organic solvent phase; and thus obtaining the resultant water phase containing 2 to 10 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide.

摘要: PURPOSE:To produce an alkaline aqueous solution contg. hydrogen peroxide in a comparatively low concentration, which is appropriately used for the bleaching of pulp, etc., while maintaining high current efficiency over a long period. CONSTITUTION:Production of hydrogen peroxide is performed by reducing oxygen in the alkaline aqueous solution to hydrogen peroxide at the cathode. The cathode 2 is made of a carbon fiber material having a >=0.3 packing density, and further, the alkaline aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide can be produced more efficiently by adjusting the concentration of the alkaline aqueous solution supplied to the cathode chamber to a lower level than the concentration level of that supplied to the anode chamber.

摘要: PURPOSE:To steadily and simply generate a hydrated electron in high concn. by irradiating water with ultrasonic waves or sound waves. CONSTITUTION:For example, an ultrasonic washing device is put in water of a bathtub and a glass cylindrical sample pipe having degassed distillated water for reaction received therein is fixed t0 the central part of the bathtub. The water level of the bathtub is adjusted and ultrasonic steady waves with frequency of about 16-100kHz are emitted to water at room temp. to generate a strong resonance condition. By this method, a hydrated electron is steadily generated. In this case, it is unnecessary to specify an ultrasonic generator and, for example, the hydrated electron may be generated by applying high frequency voltage to a transducer. Further, a cell filled with water is immersed in the water of the bathtub and the hydrated electron may be generated in the water of the cell.
