    摘要: PURPOSE:To remove each ion of an alkali metal, halogen and silver, by purifying a solution of salt of quaternary ammonium base with carboxylic acid in a process making the above-mentioned solution anhydrous in an organic polar solvent and process each treating the above-mentioned solution with metal silver, etc., and hydrogen halide. CONSTITUTION:i) A solution of salt of quaternary ammonium base with a carboxylic acid, especially dicarboxylic acid formed by using =0.95mol. above-mentioned acid based on the above-mentioned base is treated with a substance selected from a metal silver, silver oxide, silver carbonate and organic acid silver to remove a halogen ion and then the solution freed from halogen ion is treated with hydrogen halide to remove silver ion and the above-mentioned solution free from causing corrosion of a metal by halogen ion because of substantially containing no above-mentioned ion and useful as an electrolyte having high specific conductance is obtained at a low cost.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject new compound useful as a synthetic raw material for aluminum nitride powder, providing extremely high-purity aluminum nitride powder having small particle diameters by nitriding reaction in a short time. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic carboxylic acid aluminum salt of formula I [R to R are H, carboxyl or COOAl(OH)2 with the proviso that at least one of R to R is COOAl(OH)2] such as a compound of formula II. The compound, for example, is obtained by reacting a water-soluble inorganic aluminum compound with an aromatic carboxylic acid of formula III (R , R , R , R and R are H or carboxyl) or its salt in an aqueous medium at pH3-6. Ammonium alum is preferable as the soluble inorganic aluminum and a carboxylic acid to which two or three carboxyl groups are bonded such as terephthalic acid is preferable as the compound of formula III. The reaction is preferably carried out at 60-90 deg.C usually for one hour or within one hour.
