    Abstract: New compounds of general formula I, including all possible stereoisomers, are described wherein: R is hydrogen, alkyl, aminoalkyl, halogenalkyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, alkoxy, phenyl or substituted phenyl or pyridyl group. A process for their preparation consists of reaction of compound II with an acylating agent. The compounds have valuable pharmaceutical properties in the treatment of some central nervous system disorders.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound having a nitrogen-containing 7-membered ring structure in the molecule, having high stability in aspects of physical change, optical change and electrochemical change and useful as an organic electroluminescent material. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I (A) and (B) are each ethylene, vinylene or o-arylene; R1 and R3 are each H, a halogen, an alkyl, an aryl, etc.; (l), (m) and (n) are each 1-4; (p) is 0-2}, e.g. a compound of formula II. Furthermore, the compound is preferably obtained by carrying out a synthetic method based on Ullmann reaction using a metal copper catalyst and a base in the first step and carrying out a synthetic method using a cross coupling reaction using a nickel or palladium metal catalyst in the final step.
