Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new piperazine and azepine derivatives having pharmacological activity, processes for their preparation, compositions containing them, and their use in the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimer's disease. SOLUTION: Substituted piperazine, (1,4)diazepine and 2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane compounds as histamine H1 and/or H3 antagonists or H3 reverse antagonists are represented by formula (I) and include, for example, 1-phenyl-1-ä4-[4-(3-piperidin-1-yl-propoxy)-benzyl]-piperazin-1-yl}-methanone. Abstract:
The present invention relates to substituted piperazine derivatives of general formula wherein Ra to Rc, Ya, Yb, X and n are defined as in claim 1, the isomers and salts thereof, particularly the physiologically acceptable salts thereof, which are valuable inhibitors of the microsomal triglyceride-transfer protein (MTP), medicaments containing these compounds and their use, as well as the preparation thereof.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition having excellent effect on inhibiting both sneeze and snot due to allergic rhinitis. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition is obtained by formulating fexofenadine hydrochloride and an anticholinergic medicine.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel compound that is useful as an anti-HIV-1 viral agent by condensation reaction between hydroxy-coumarin and a dialdehyde or an aldehyde-acid. SOLUTION: This novel compound is represented by formula I [R and R are each 2-hydroxycoumarinyl or the like in the case that R is identical to R , while R is 4-hydroxycoumarinyl and R is a group of-CH(OH)CH3 , in the case that R is different from R ], typically 3,3',3",3'"-ethylene-tetrakis(4- hydroxycoumarine). The compound of formula I is obtained by the condensation reaction between a hydroxycoumarine of formula II (R is OH and R and R are each H, R and R are each OH and R is H, or R -R are each OH) and a dialdehyde or an aldehyde-acid.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicine or an agrochemical (intermediate), by treating a specimen solution containing an ionic surfactant and an organic compound capable of forming an ion pair by using a specific ionic chromatography under a specific condition. SOLUTION: A solution consisting essentially of an organic compound capable of forming an ion pair and an ionic surfactant is separated from a specimen solution containing the ionic surfactant and the organic compound by using an ion pair chromatography using a solvent containing an excessive amount of the ionic surfactant as a moving phase. Then the excessive amount of the ionic surfactant is removed from the separated solution and the organic compound is separated by solid phase extraction. Preferably, after the organic solvent is removed from the separated solution, a strong electrolyte is added to the solution, the excessive amount of the ionic surfactant is precipitated and the precipitate is separated and removed to remove the excessive amount of the ionic surfactant.
