Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a gasoline base material in good yield, wherein the gasoline base material has a sulfur content of 1 mass ppm or lower and octane number of 100 or larger.SOLUTION: The method of producing the gasoline base material includes: a first step of obtaining heavy naphtha by hydrocracking a predetermined light cycle oil, wherein the heavy naphtha has density at 15°C of 0.76 to 0.80 g/cm, an initial boiling point of 70 to 90°C, an end point of 150 to 170°C, a sulfur content of 0.1 to 20 mass ppm, and a naphthene content of 25 to 45 mass%; and a second step of devulcanizing the heavy naphtha thus obtained until the sulfur content becomes 1 mass ppm or lower, and thereafter catalytically reforming the resultant heavy naphtha, thereby obtaining a desired gasoline base material in the yield of 20 mass% or more based on the light cycle oil.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefinic naphtha and a process for producing lower olefins from this naphtha. SOLUTION: In the process for producing lower olefins, preferably ethylene, at least a portion of a hydrocarbon source is converted to synthesis gas and at least a portion of the synthesis gas is converted to an olefinic naphtha by a Fischer-Tropsch process. At least a portion of the olefinic naphtha is converted in a naphtha cracker to a product stream comprising lower olefins, and at least a portion of the lower olefins from the product stream of the naphtha cracker are recovered. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency in the preparation of the titled raw material, by distilling a specific petroleum fraction, obtaining the raw material oil as an overhead or intermediate fraction, simultaneously heat-treating the bottom fraction at a specific temperature, and recovering the raw material oil. CONSTITUTION:A mixture obtained by cracking or reforming petroleum is fractionated to give >=9C compounds, and the resultant fraction of >=9C compounds is then distilled at a bottom temperature of about 140-200 deg.C and a pressure of about 30-200mm.Hg to obtain a raw material oil for a petroleum resin as an overhead or intermediate fraction having a boiling point of about 150 deg.C. The bottom fraction is simultaneously heat-treated at a temperature of about 200- 400 deg.C, preferably about 220-350 deg.C, for about 0.5-3hr to recover the raw material oil for the petroleum resin.
