PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for athletic stadium in which lighting fixtures of high directivity are arranged economically in such a way that a remarkable difference is not generated in an illumination distribution in the athletic stadium and powerful light may not enter into eyes of players.SOLUTION: At a tennis coat T where several tennis courts 1 to 6 are arranged in vertical and lateral directions, several columns 11 are vertically installed along both right and left sides around the tennis court T, i.e. in parallel with two rows of side lines 13, 14 positioned at the outer-most sides of several tennis courts 1 to 6, and a beam member 12 is installed between each of the columns 11, 11. The lighting fixtures 17 having a high directivity with several light emitting diodes collected there are arranged in parallel in substantial equal manner over an entire length of each of the beam members in each of the rows through fixing brackets attached to the beam members 12 in these two rows spaced apart by a prescribed space.

SOLUTION: In the coupling device, a second contact receiving portion 52 is provided near a hook 21b of a hook mechanism installed on one of adjoining illumination units 10, and a first contact receiving portion 51 is provided near a pin 31 of a pin mechanism 3 installed in the other illumination unit 10, and when the hook 21b is engaged with the pin 31 and the adjoining illumination units 10 are coupled and fixed, a first contact part 41 and the first contact receiving portion 51 are connected, and a second contact part 42 and the second contact receiving portion 52 are connected, thereby, the first contact receiving portion 51 and the second contact receiving portion 52 are electrically connected through a hook member 21. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device with high in-plane uniformity of luminance by having no dark part to be made in a joint section between planar light source panels. SOLUTION: The illuminating device 1 is provided with a plurality of planar light source panels 2 and a plurality of light diffusion reflecting plates 3 arranged on a light emitting side of the planar light source panels 2. The light diffusion reflecting plates 3 have rectangular bottom surfaces arranged on a light emitting region on the planar light source panel 2, light emitting surfaces 3a are approximately the same size as a planar contour of the surface light source panels 2 and side surfaces 3c are formed to be inclined diagonally outward from the bottom surfaces to the light emitting surfaces 3a. The light diffusion reflecting plates 3 which are adjacent to each other are arranged to be in contact with each other without any gap and the light emitting surfaces 3a are arranged to be continuous. PURPOSE:To provide a serial fluorescent lamp system, with which fitting work of an apparatus can be rationalized, and which can be easily fitted, carried, and housed. CONSTITUTION:A fixed base board 1 to be fixed attachably and detachably to the opening part of a wiring duct, is provided. A conductor 1A is embedded in the fixed base board 1, and coupled terminals 2A, 3A protruded on a socket 2 and a ballast 3 are brought into contact with the conductor 1A, and are thus conducted. The conductors 1A of adjacent fixed base boards 1 are connected to each other by a connecting tool 4. The coupled terminals 2A, 3A are inserted into a pair of connection holes 1C from which the both side surfaces of the embedded conductors 1A appear, and the conductor 1A is fixed in such a way that the conductor is sandwiched between the terminals. A double-surface socket is used as the connecting tool 4.
