    Abstract: PURPOSE: A noxiousness effluent reduction method of an engine using a reformer, and a method for reducing the noxiousness effluent of an engine are provided to secure the stability of HCCI combustion by supplying hydrocarbon to an engine. CONSTITUTION: A noxiousness effluent reduction method of an engine using a reformer comprises a reformer(20), an exhaust gas recirculation device(30), a HC addition selective catalytic reaction device(40) and a smoke filter device(50). The reformer reforms oxygen and hydrocarbon included in the engine exhaust gas to the hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The reformer increases the temperature of the exhaust gas more than before by the exothermic reaction. The EGR is stabilizes an HCCI(Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) reaction of combustion of the engine by supplying the exhaust gas reformed in reformer and in the state where the hydrogen content is more increased to the engine(10). The HC-SCR is reformed in reformer and the HC addition selective catalytic reaction device provides the exhaust gas of the state where the hydrogen content is more increased. The HC-SCR changes the nitric oxide into the atmosphere nitrogen and steam by using HC as the reducing agent as the state where the reduction reaction of the nitric oxide is more accelerated. The DPF oxidizes the dust piled in inside by getting the gas of the high temperature exhausted in reformer.

A smoke reducing device for a diesel vehicle in fast acceleration comprises an oxidation catalyst(200), a composite filter(100), and a case. The oxidation catalyst removes a part of the exhaust gas inside harmful material including CO, THC, NOx, SOF using catalyst reaction. The composite filter comprises a main filter(110) and a reinforcing filter(120). The reinforcing filter is equipped at the outer circumference of the main filter. The composite filter removes a part of the exhaust gas inside the harmful material including soot. The oxidation catalyst and the composite filter are accepted in the case. The oxidation catalyst and the composite filter are successively arranged from the upper stream against the flow of the exhaust gas.
