摘要: PURPOSE: An expanded cellular material is provided to obtain a low density polyester foam material with a good cellular structure in stable processing conditions. CONSTITUTION: In an expanded, cellular material comprising at least 50 wt% of post-consumer polyester resin, the intrinsic viscosity of the polymer(s) is upgraded during the foam extrusion process and the intrinsic viscosity of the exiting foam is characterized by being higher than 1.2 ml/g, preferably above 1.35 ml/g and the density is between 40 and 200 kg/m^3, preferably between 50 and 150 kg/m^3.

摘要: PURPOSE: An expanded bead is provided to have excellent contraction and shear strength, high temperature durability, chemical resistance, creep resistance, and high mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: An expanded bead of a polyalkylene terephthalate resin comprises a shell-core capsulated by a dense exterior part, has a density of 400 or less according to DIN ISO 1183, and has a melting viscosity of 300 Pa.s according to ASTM D4440. The thickness of the dense exterior part is 120 micron or less. The shell core includes a micro shell layer and a micro shell core and has a shell size of 400 micron or less.

摘要: PURPOSE: A method for preventing the fire and changing properties of expanded polyesters is provided to modify the physical and chemical resistance properties of expanded polyester products, such as fire retardancy and hydrolysis resistance, by melt-modification of the surface layer(s) of foams and sponges. CONSTITUTION: A material consists of expanded polyester as a core being covered with at least one outer protective layer consisting of unexpanded polyester containing a low to high concentration of functional additives. The core consists of a polyalkylidene terephthalate. The outer layer consists of polyalkylidene terephthalate. The outer layer is included with 0.5 - 60 weight% of functional chemicals as additives.

摘要: PURPOSE: A polyester foam material is provided to ensure uniform and fine foam structure by adding fusible zinc phosphinate as a halogen free flame retardant. CONSTITUTION: A polyester foam material is an obtained by a reactive extrusion foaming of polyester resins. The polyester foam has a total heat release(THR600s) less than 6.0 MJ, a fire growth rate(FIGRA) less than 430.0 W/s, a total smoke production(TSP600s) less than 165.0 MJ and no flaming droplets/particles within 600s, wherein all parameters thereof are tested according to prEN 13823.
