    摘要: PURPOSE: A width rolling method of a reversible hot rolling mill is provided to increase the width variable range and decide a width rolling reduction at the pass of the exit side of a roughing mill which reaches to a target width of the rough rolling by carrying out at the exit side of the roughing mill also the width rolling method that is performed only in the reversible hot rolling process including a width rolling mill. CONSTITUTION: The width rolling method comprises the step of first step (21) of judging whether or not a width variable quantity rolled exceeds an ordinary maximum width variable quantity; second step (22 - 25) of setting the number of width rolling pass at the exit side of a horizontal rolling mill and the initial width rolling reduction; third step (26 - 28) of calculating a dog bone width recovery quantity and an exit side width of the rough rolling considering the total rolling reduction of the subsequent pass; and fourth step (29 - 33) of conforming a width of the rough rolling terminating pass with a target width so as to derive a width rolling reduction for the width rolling pass of the exit side of the horizontal rolling mill.
