If the vehicle speed measured by the vehicle speed sensor is equal to or less than a reference speed value and the acceleration change measured by the acceleration sensor is equal to or less than a reference acceleration change, the controller stops the engine. If the acceleration change measured by the acceleration sensor is over the reference acceleration change even though the vehicle speed measured by the vehicle speed sensor is less than the reference speed value, the controller does not stop the engine.
