CONSTITUTION: A burner for diesel particulate filter regeneration comprises a fuel mixed air supply unit(140) and a metal ball(150). A nozzle(144) of a fuel air mixer feed port is connected to a reactive unit(121) and supplies the fuel mixed air to the reactive unit. The metal ball is located in the outer circumference of a positive electrode(130) and makes the fuel air mixer sprayed through the nozzle ignite.

    Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for processing engine exhaust capable of increasing continuity of combustion flame of combustible gas. The apparatus for processing engine exhaust has a flammable gas supply path (8) disposed in parallel at a lower side of an exhaust path (4); a heat radiating port (13) opened to a lower side of the flammable gas supply path (8) in an upper side of the exhaust path (4) when compared to an oxidation catalyst; the exhaust path (4) communicated with the flammable gas supply path (8) through the heat radiating port (13); and an ignition device (10) disposed on a lower side of the heat radiating port (13). The apparatus for processing engine exhaust is constituted to raise the exhaust temperature of the exhaust path (4) by providing burning heat of ignited flammable gas (2) to the exhaust path (4), and is provided with a flame holder plate (42) which is mounted at a lower side of the heat radiating port (13) in a lower side of the flammable gas supply path (8) when compared to the ignition device (10). An exhaust guide plate (46) is provided on an upper portion of the flame holder plate (42), and is bent slantingly toward a lower side of the exhaust path (4), the ignition device (10) being covered from the slanted upper side of the exhaust guide plate (46).
