    摘要: An image processing method, applicable to a digital image device, includes the following steps. At least one original image of different brightness ranges is captured, and more images of different brightness ranges are generated from the original image by using an image post-processing technique. Based on characteristics of the image of each brightness range, the weights of the image of each brightness range are defined. Then, hierarchical fusion is performed on the images of the different brightness ranges according to weight relations, so as to form a high-dynamic-range image capable of presenting features of each brightness range.

    摘要: A method for assist in focal length detection is adapted to a digital camera having a flash. The method includes the following steps. First, the flash of the digital camera is actuated and an image having a face portion is captured. Afterwards, an exposure feature value of the face portion in the image is calculated. A focus range comparison table is looked up according to the exposure feature value to obtain an initial focus position. Then, a focus procedure is performed according to the initial focus position to obtain a target focal length. After the target focal length is obtained, a flash feature value of the image is further calculated, and a guide number (GN) and a diaphragm value are set according to the flash feature value.

    摘要: An image capturing apparatus and an image correction method thereof are provided. The image capturing apparatus comprises an image capturing module, a sensing module, a storage module, and a processing module. The image capturing module captures an image. The sensing module senses an included angle between the image capturing apparatus and a horizontal plane. The storage module stores a rotation compensation data table containing a plurality of offset angles and a plurality of rotation compensation values for pixels corresponding to each offset angle. According to a difference value between the angle and a preset angle, the processing module finds out the appropriate rotation compensation values in the rotation compensation data table for rotating and correcting the image. A calibrated image is then generated, and the calibrated image matches the image captured by the image capturing device at the preset angle.
