Abstract:
A housing having a woven appearance includes a substrate and a plurality of groove groups formed on the surface of the substrate. The groove groups define the woven appearance and are formed by etching. The housing may be made by using a film having a lightproof areas and a light-transmissible areas, the lightproof areas defining a woven appearance. The film is placed over a metal substrate having light-sensitive materials formed thereon and radiated with light. The light passing through the light-transmissible areas of the film solidifies the light-sensitive materials. After, removing the film from the substrate and cleaning un-solidified light-sensitive materials from the substrate to expose areas corresponding to the lightproof area, and an etching process is carried out to form the woven appearance on the exposed areas.
Abstract:
A motorized wheel chair includes a main body having two support rods, a battery mounted between the support rods of the main body, and two rotation retaining members each rotatably mounted on a respective one of the support rods and each rotatable to rest on the battery to retain the battery on the main body. Thus, the user only needs to hang the battery on the support rods, to rotate the rotation retaining members and to press the rotation retaining members on the battery so as to attach the battery to the main body, so that the battery is mounted on the main body easily and conveniently. In addition, the battery is retained by the rotation retaining members, so that the battery is mounted on the main body rigidly and stably.
Abstract:
A lighted-sign stand comprises a body having a base supporting a sign on a horizontal surface. The body of the stand has a sign panel and a frame for holding the sign. The stand further comprises a light source and a control circuit. The control circuit having a sensor at the base of the stand for turning the light source off and on, respectively, turning the light source off when the base is supporting the sign on a horizontal surface and turning the light source on when the base is lifted off the horizontal surface.
Abstract:
An infrared thermometer includes a thermal conductor and a thermal adjuster to conduct suitable thermal flux into the sensor unit. A thermal conductive bushing is also mounted under the bottom of the sensor unit and touching the thermal conductor. The thermal fluxes conducting to the upper portion and the lower portion of the sensor unit are thus balanced suitably and quickly to remove the thermal noise and help the thermometer maintaining precise measurements from infrared radiation of the target.
Abstract:
An infinitely variable angle adjusting device for a handlebar of a motorized vehicle includes a fixing seat, a handlebar stem, a pull handle, an adjusting base, a cover, two sockets, two slides, a compression spring, two urging ball units, a shaft, two press members, and a pull wire. Thus, the adjusting base is movable on the shaft freely, so that the handlebar stem is pivoted relative to the fixing seat, so as to adjust the included angle between the handlebar stem and the fixing seat arbitrarily, so that the inclined angle of the handlebar on the handlebar stem can be adjusted easily and arbitrarily.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a container having a base for receiving a drive, and a clam having a first end that is rotatably coupled to the base, a second end, and a body extending from the first end to the second end, the clam rotatable relative to the base so that the clam can be placed at a first position and a second position, wherein when the clam is at the first position, the container allows the drive to be placed therein, and wherein when the clam is at the second position, the clam secures the drive relative to the container. A frame includes at least sixteen slots to receive respective drive storage devices, which store respective SFF8201 7 mm drives, in EIA RS310D 1U space. A frame includes at least forty-eight slots to receive respective drive storage devices, which store respective SFF8201 7 mm drives, in EIA RS310D 2U space.
Abstract:
This invention discloses an apparatus capable of controlling, tracking and measuring the tightening torque and the locking force and a method thereof. The device comprises a control device, a transducing device, and a sensing device. The transducing device comprises a second connector and a first signal transmitter. The control device communicates with the transducing device through a second signal transmitter and the first signal transmitter wiredly or wirelessly. The sensing device comprises a first connector and a sensor, and electrically connects to the transducing device through the second connector and the first connector. The sensing device senses the torque applied to a fastener to transmit real-time sensing data to the control device. The control device compares the real-time sensing data with a setting value so as to measure, control or track the locking force or tightening torque applied to the fastener in real time.
Abstract:
A digital display apparatus for a fastener pulling tool to set a fastener (e.g., rivet, blind rivet or blind threaded insert), driven by pneumatic, hydraulic or pneudraulic power, includes a power supply, a CPU, a pressure sensor, position sensors, a display, and an input means; wherein the pressure sensor is operable to sense pressure of hydraulic or pneumatic fluid entering the fastener pulling tool; the CPU includes a pressure and pulling force calculation module an unit conversion module, an over pressure determination module, a cycle times counting module, and an abnormal stroke detecting module; and the display includes a pressure display zone for showing hydraulic or pneumatic pressure and a pulling force display zone for showing pulling force, a non-resettable over pressure display zone showing the highest inlet pressure, and a cycle time display zone for showing non-resettable accumulated working cycles of the tool.
Abstract:
A data storage device accepts queued read and write commands that have deadlines. The queued read and write commands are requests to access the data storage device. The deadlines of the queued read and write commands can be advisory deadlines or mandatory deadlines.
