摘要： The present disclosure relates to riveting apparatuses, riveting devices, and methods for their use. An example riveting apparatus includes a pneumatically operated riveting tool having a working end for squeezing a rivet. The riveting apparatus includes a support bracket connected to the riveting tool proximate the working end, the support bracket having arms projecting on each side of the riveting tool. The riveting apparatus also includes a pair of spaced-apart edge rollers coupled to the support arms. The edge rollers are configured to rollably engage an edge of a work-piece so as to support the weight of the riveting tool and enable movable adjustment of the working end relative to the work-piece. The riveting apparatus includes a handle rotatably mounted to the riveting tool to enable axial rotation of the handle, the handle having an actuatable switch configured to selectively operate the riveting tool.

摘要： A fixing gun includes a gun body and a loading device. The gun body is for manipulation of a fastener, and has a loading hole. The loading device includes a guide member and a linkage mechanism. The guide member is formed with a first guide groove and a second guide groove. The linkage mechanism includes a lower link, a slide member, and a clamp assembly for holding the fastener. The slide member is disposed movably on the guide member. The lower link is pivoted to the slide member and the clamp assembly. During movement of the slide member relative to the guide member for moving the fastener into the loading hole, the lower link is alternatively engaged to the first guide groove and the second guide groove.

摘要： In a method of supplying connecting elements to a processing unit, in which the connecting elements are placed in readiness by a supply unit and conveyed individually by a passage to a loading device arranged on the processing unit, the conveyance of the connecting elements takes place in two separate steps, a first step in which the connecting elements are individually conveyed by the supply unit into a intermediate reservoir arranged near the loading device, and a second step in which a single connecting element at a time is conveyed from the intermediate reservoir into the loading device of the processing unit. Specifically, at least two different connecting elements are picked up by the intermediate reservoir, and of the several connecting elements accommodated in the intermediate reservoir an arbitrary one determined by the processing operation is selected for the second step and conveyed to the loading device.

摘要： A blind-rivet gun includes a gun header, a cylinder, a piston, and a tube. The cylinder is separated from the gun header. The piston includes a piston header. The piston header and an inner surface of the cylinder form a seal to divide the cylinder into a first air chamber and a second air chamber. The cylinder includes a first gas hole and a second gas hole. The first gas hole is connected to the first air chamber, and the second gas hole is connected to the second air chamber. The piston is adapted to slide in the cylinder to generate inner high pressure gas by alternatively supplying outer high pressure gas to the first gas hole or the second gas hole. The tube is connected to the gun header and the cylinder. The tube transmits inner high pressure from the cylinder to the gun header.

摘要： A die for a riveting tool for implementing a punch rivet connection between at least two joined part sections is proposed, the die being used in a state provided in the riveting tool for supporting the joined part sections during a connection procedure and a die front side facing toward a movable punch of the riveting tool, using which a rivet element can be pressed in a punching manner through the joined part sections to be connected, an embossing section of the die protruding in relation to adjacent areas of the die front side and causing an embossment in the die-side joined part section, so that components of the joined part material flow into an external depression on the rivet element. According to the invention, the embossing section is implemented as divided into sections. The invention additionally relates to a riveting tool.

摘要： A nut-plate riveter which includes multiple pistons which assist in creating a pulling force. The nut-plate riveter provides that spent mandrels are pulled through the tool, thereby avoiding problems in the field. The nut-plate riveter includes a handle and a plurality of pistons disposed in the handle. Cavities are proximate the pistons for pressurizing the pistons, and air supply passages are in communication with the cavities for supplying air to the cavities to pressurize the pistons. A piston rod is engaged with at least one of the pistons, and the piston rod has a longitudinal bore therethrough which is configured to receive a spent mandrel. A deflector fitting may be disposed at an end of the nut-plate riveter.
