A plurality of possible results for one or more development factors estimated to complete the software development project may be generated based upon, at least in part, the plurality of development requirements for the software development project. A plurality of results for the one or more development factors estimated to complete the software development project may be generated and may include processing a different set of random values from the plurality of possible results for the one or more development factors estimated to complete the software development project during each iteration of a plurality of iterations of one or more probabilistic models.     Abstract: A football pad securing device includes a pad assembly with a pair of shoulder pads each having a back covering and a chest covering. Elongated slots extend through each of the chest coverings. Each of a pair of loops is attached to one of the back coverings. Each of a pair of straps has a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side. Couplers are fixedly attached to the first ends. The couplers are removably securable to the slots. Each of a pair of hook and loop assemblies is attached to one of the straps and selectively attaches the first sides of the straps to themselves. The couplers are coupled to one of the slots and each of the second ends is extended through one of the loops. The hook and loop assemblies then secured the straps to the loops.

    Abstract: A mechanized harvesting machine particularly suitable for picking or harvesting vegetables such as peppers and tomatoes uses a single rotating helical guide member carried on a shaft aligned longitudinally above the row of plants to thread its way through the plants with minimal disturbance. Arcuate picking elements are attached between the helical guide and the shaft for pushing and pulling the vegetables or other crops to be harvested from the plant, as the helical guide member is rotated through the row of plants. The guide member is operated parallel to the ground and turns in a single direction, leaving the plants in a relatively undisturbed condition after they have been picked so that the plants may be used to grow a subsequent crop. The harvesting machine includes conveyor belts located on opposite sides of the helical guide member for catching the vegetables after they have been picked to convey them to a convenient storage bin on the machine.

    Abstract: A harvesting machine particularly suitable for picking or harvesting vegetables, such as peppers or tomatoes, employs a harvesting frame on which is mounted a rotating shaft aligned transversely to the direction of movement of the machine. A pair of spaced apart picking members are mounted on the shaft on opposite sides of a row of plants having a crop to be harvested. The picking members are simultaneously rotated; and each of them has a plurality of arcuate picking elements pivotally mounted on them. The picking elements rotate with the picking members in the same direction of movement of the machine; and as the picking elements rotate downwardly above the row of plants, a cam pivots them into a position adjacent the picking members, spaced away from a plant located between the picking members. As the machine passes over the plant, the picking elements are moved by a second cam into a position to extend into the space between the picking members to engage the plant to be picked and remove crop therefrom for deposition onto a conveyor for removal from the machine.

    Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed for cooling large sealed drums (typically fifty-five gallon drums) of cooked food products. The size of such large drums makes them difficult to handle, since they typically weigh in excess of five hundred pounds when full. The cooling apparatus comprises a main frame structure which has a support shaft rotatably attached to it and elevated above the base of the frame a distance sufficient to provide clearance for a vertically oriented drum to pass underneath it. The support shaft has a support frame on it with six, equally spaced, radially arranged, drum support platforms and clamp members attached to it. A drum is rolled onto one of these platforms from an adjacent fixed platform. Once it is in place, it is clamped onto the support frame, and the next support platform is rotated into place. Once drums are located in all six of the positions, the device is continuously rotated in a cooling water spray to rapidly cool the contents of the drums. The rotation causes a tumbling action of the contents to ensure a mixing of the contents to bring all of the contents into contact with the inner surface of the drum during the cooling operation, so that cooling is rapidly and effectively accomplished.
