    摘要: An electrostatic recording head with an array of stylus electrodes each of which is provided with a voltage responsive to recording information for scanning video signals by lines in a horizontal direction. The head comprises a thin metal or plastic sheet having predetermined size and thickness. An insulating layer of a predetermined thickness is formed on one side of the thin metal sheet if used as the base material. Lead electrodes are fixed at a given interval on the plastic or the insulating layer and are connected at one end to a drive circuit. Recording electrodes are provided at the other end of said lead electrodes. An insulating layer covers the lead electrodes. Electrostatic recording is effected on a recording element that has been given charges of a polarity opposite to that of the voltage applied in response to the recording information. A control electrode may be employed to eliminate the need for a corona discharge device.

    摘要: A thermal recording head drive device in which a uniform recording density is provided independent of temperature changes in the device. An analog shift register receives an analog input signal having an amplitude which varies according to the densities of picture elements to be recorded. The analog signal is shifted into the register until sufficient data is stored to provide parallel outputs corresponding to an entire line of picture elements to be recorded. Current control circuits are connected in series between respective outputs of the shift register and heat generating resistance elements of the recording head. A common connection terminal of the series circuits of the current control circuits and heat generating resistance elements is connected through a voltage control circuit to a power supply terminal. The internal impedance of the voltage control circuit is set in accordance with at least one detected temperature in or around the recording head which affects the recording density such as the substrate temperature of the head.

    摘要: A thermomagnetic printer includes a recording unit for storing a latent image in which there are provided a magnetic recording layer providing thermomagnetic effect when placed in magnetic field with temperature graduation on one side of a photoconductive layer and a transparent electrically conductive layer on the other side.When storing a latent image in the magnetic recording layer, light which emits corresponding to the image to be reproduced on a paper is irradiated onto the photoconductive layer through the transparent electrically conductive layer while applying magnetic field to the magnetic recording layer and supplying electricity between the magnetic recording layer and the electrically conductive layer, whereby irradiated part of the photoconductive layer and the corresponding part of the magnetic recording layer are heated by Joule heat effect and the latter is magnetized by the thermomagnetic effect. By repeating the above operation in accordance with the image information, the latent image is formed in the magnetic recording layer.

    摘要: A photo-thermal ink transferring device includes an ink transferring drum which comprises a photoconductive layer on which inking material being in solid state at room temperature and having heat-fusing and semiconductive properties is coated and a transparent electrically-conductive layer which is provided on the opposite surface of the photoconductive layer. In ink transferring, while the desired portion of a paper onto which ink is transferred placed in contact with the coated inking material and while a proper current is passed through the coated inking material and transparent layer, light representative of a portion of image to be transferred is locally illuminated from the inner side of the electrically-conductive layer toward the photoconductive layer. As a result, the light-illuminated portion of the inking material coated on the photoconductive layer is locally self-heated by Joule heat phenomenon, so that the inking material is fused and transferred onto the paper. The above operation is repeated for the subsequent portions so that the whole image can be effectively transferred onto the paper.
