摘要: An antenna structure for vehicles capable of minimizing the distance between a first contact member and a signal processing circuit and ensuring stable antenna performance without using a connection line of a lengthy wire rod is provided. To realize this advantage, an antenna element is disposed on a rear window glass, and the first contact member is disposed at an end of the antenna element. Further, an amplifier case having an attachment flange facing the rear window glass is fixed to a roof panel, and the signal processing circuit is disposed in the amplifier case at a position sandwiching the attachment flange.

摘要: A window glass antenna system includes a defogging heater pattern disposed on a window glass pane and being operable also as an AM broadcast receiver antenna, an impedance matching circuit having two inductors for respectively causing series resonance and parallel resonance of AM broadcast signals fed from an output of the heater pattern and being designed to supply the AM broadcast signals to an associated radio receiver, and at least one capacitor disposed between the heater pattern output and the impedance matching circuit for blocking induced noises of AM frequency band. With this arrangement, it becomes possible to significantly attenuate noises of AM frequency band to be induced into the heater pattern, without attenuating received signals of AM broadcast, whereby AM broadcast radio reception of good S/N ratio is enabled.

A glass antenna (30) is constituted by a linearly extending first antenna element (31), and a second antenna element (32) extending in the opposite direction of the first antenna element and connected to a grounding point (37) provided on an edge of a glass. Third antenna elements (34, 35) respectively intersect a tip (33a) of the first antenna element (31) and a base (33b) of the second antenna element (32), and respectively extend along an opening of a vehicle body (11).

摘要: A window glass antenna system comprises a grounding electrode disposed on a surface of a side edge portion of a window glass and connected with a braided outer conductor of a coaxial cable, a feeding electrode disposed on the surface of the window glass side edge portion proximately to the grounding electrode and connected with a center conductor of the coaxial cable, a signal retrieval pattern extending downwardly from the feeding electrode along the window glass side edge portion and bent to provide a horizontal portion, and a radiation pattern connected substantially perpendicularly to an end portion of the horizontal portion of the signal retrieval pattern. As a result, the window glass antenna system can be easily disposed at the window glass side edge portion while exhibiting excellent performance.

摘要: The invention provides a glass antenna having an impedance that is close to the characteristic impedance of the antenna's feeder cable, even when an impedance matching circuit is not provided. A vehicle glass antenna includes a VHF band antenna provided on a window glass of a vehicle. The VHF band antenna includes (i) an antenna pattern including a first element extending substantially straight; a bend portion bending away from the first element; and a second element that is substantially parallel to the first element, extending from the bend portion, (ii) a grounding point to which the second element is connected; and (iii) a feeding point for the VHF band antenna.

摘要: A glass window antenna system for motor vehicles, in which a receiving sensitivity in an AM band is increased, is provided. One AM/FM antenna pattern is provided on a rear window, which has a pattern mainly receiving a FM band while maintaining an AM receiving characteristic, and an AM antenna pattern is provided which has an antenna pattern for obtaining AM receiving characteristic. An AM voltage received by the AM/FM antenna pattern and an AM voltage received by the AM antenna patterns are synthesized by superimposing the AM received voltage of the AM antenna patterns to the AM received voltage of the AM/FM antenna pattern through a low-pass filter.

摘要: A window glass antenna has a receiving antenna pattern and a loop-shaped guard pattern of an electrically conductive material disposed on a sheet of window glass around the receiving antenna pattern. The guard pattern is positioned on the sheet of window glass for intensive electromagnetic and electrostatic coupling between the guard pattern and an electric conductor disposed around the sheet of window glass. The guard pattern and the electric conductor are spaced from each other by a distance of 2 mm or less. The guard pattern has a width of 1 mm or more.

摘要: The present invention provides a glass antenna device for mobile communication with suitable impedance matching for two different frequency bands. In this antenna device, the ends of a substantially straight first radiation antenna pattern and a second radiation antenna pattern are coupled by a coupling pattern that is substantially perpendicular to the first and second radiation antenna patterns. The longitudinal direction of the coupling pattern is arranged substantially in parallel to the ground. The length of the first radiation antenna pattern is different from the length of the second radiation antenna pattern. A rectangular grounding pattern is arranged below this U-shaped antenna pattern. A core conductor of a coaxial cable is connected to the U-shaped antenna pattern, and a braided conductor of the coaxial cable is connected to the grounding pattern. An impedance-adjusting pattern is provided on a lateral portion of the grounding pattern.
