    摘要: An apparatus for detecting modulated informations from emitted light turned around by an object is disclosed, in which a non-modulation interval is provided in a light signal from a transmitting side, an information from the transmitting side is received at a receiving side by its light receiving elements and the light signal from the transmitting side during the non-modulation interval is modulated and then reflected back to the transmitting side thereby transmitting a signal. Consequently, the space and the cost of the receiving side can be reduced, and the optical axes of the transmitting side and the receiving side can be positively adjusted with ease. Also, according to the present invention, a bar code is disclosed, which includes an optical recursive reflection member which reflects back a light incident thereon in substantially the same direction of the incident light. This bar code further includes a shutter which can modulate a code.

    摘要: A carrier device for restraining an animal inside and outside of a motor vehicle. The carrier device includes a plurality of panels configured to form a hollow enclosure for housing the animal and a strap for connecting the enclosure to the motor vehicle. At least one of the panels includes a frame for supporting the panel in order to maintain the shape of the enclosure. The panels and the frame are configured to allow the enclosure to collapse so that the carrier can be folded. The strap includes fastening mechanisms at each end. A portion of the strap located between the two ends is connected to one of the panels of the enclosure so that during a sudden acceleration or deceleration of the motor vehicle, the animal is restrained within the enclosure and a force exerted on the enclosure is transferred to the motor vehicle.

    摘要: An anti-frost system for the windshield of a motor vehicle has a heating element incorporated in the windshield. The system has an atmospheric temperature sensor, a relative humidity sensor and a windshield temperature sensor. Signals from the atmospheric temperature sensor and the relative humidity sensor are inputted to a calculator circuit which calculates a saturated steam temperature from the input signals. The saturated steam temperature and the windshield temperature are delivered to an operation circuit, which determines that frosting on the windshield is expected under a combined condition to the windshield temperature and the saturated steam temperature and which turns a transistor on to close a switch to energize the heating element for preventing frosting in advance.
