摘要: A camera device for a motor vehicle includes a camera module with a module body having at least one aperture, a sensor adapted to detect electromagnetic radiation of a spectral range and arranged within the module body, and an optical element mounted to substantially cover, fill or close the aperture, a deployment system adapted to move the camera module between a retracted state, in which at least the optical element is arranged within the cavity of the vehicle body with the outer surface of the camera module body being generally flush with the exterior of the vehicle body, and a deployed state, in which the camera sensor is operable and at least the optical element protrudes from the vehicle body, and cleaning means for cleaning the optical element at least during movement of the camera module between the retracted state and the deployed state.

摘要: A wiper movement detecting device may include an optical sensor that may be installed to face a glass surface in a vehicle and detect illuminance in an area of the glass surface where the wiper that reciprocates along the glass surface passes through. The detecting device may also include a movement detecting unit configured to detect a reduction time in which the illuminance detected by the optical sensor may temporarily reduce due to the passing of the wiper and determine a movement of the wiper from an interval cycle based upon an interval between the reduction times.

摘要: A wiper device includes: a wiper motor including an output shaft configured to be forward-and-reverse rotated and causing to-and-fro operation of a wiper blade, the wiper blade being connected to the wiper motor via a wiper arm; an acquisition section that acquires positioning data or ambient temperature data; and a controller that controls the wiper motor such that the output shaft forward-and-reverse rotates within a first rotation angle to stop or return the wiper blade at or to a first lower position where the wiper blade is hidden by a rear end of an engine hood of the vehicle, and such that the output shaft forward-and-reverse rotates within a second rotation angle to stop or return the wiper blade at or to a second lower position above the first lower position where the wiper blade is not hidden by the rear end of the engine hood in a cold environment.

摘要: Automatic wiper control prohibiting means prohibits execution of automatic wiper control when vehicle stop detecting means detects that a vehicle is stopping and a masking object detecting part determines that a masking object is adhered to an outer surface of a window part. When the vehicle stop detecting means detects that the vehicle is stopping and a state of the masking object detecting part is changed from a state where the masking object detecting part detects that the masking object is adhered to the outer surface of the window part to a state where the masking object detecting part detects that the masking object is not adhered to the outer surface of the window part at a changing time, the automatic wiper control prohibiting means prohibits the execution of said automatic wiper control for a predetermined period of time from the changing time.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to apparatus for controlling operation of a vehicle system. The apparatus includes a processor operable in an automatic mode to output a control signal to automate operation of the vehicle system. The processor is configured to receive a measurement signal from a sensor associated with the vehicle system. The processor outputs the control signal in dependence on a comparison of the measurement signal to a control function. A user override of the automated operation of the vehicle system is detected and the processor re-calibrates the control function in dependence on the detected user override. The present disclosure also relates to a vehicle and to a method of controlling operation of a vehicle system.

摘要: Method to estimate the wear state of wiper blades (5) of a vehicle windshield wiper unit (1), said windshield wiper unit (1) comprising: at least one wiper blade (5) configured to wipe a windshield surface (S) when activated, at least one motor (7) configured to activate the at least one wiper blade (5), a controller (9) configured to control the at least one motor (7), comprising the steps: deriving a friction coefficient (B) between the at least one wiper blade (5) and the windshield surface (S), using the derived friction coefficient (B) to determine the wetness of the windshield surface (S), if the windshield surface (S) is dry, using the derived friction coefficient (B) to estimate the wear state of the at least one wiper blade (5).
