    摘要: Disclosed is a smart device housing configured to fixably attach to a beverage vessel comprising a domed surface at a distal end, the domed surface adjacent a wall terminating at a lip, the smart device housing comprising an exterior configured as a transformable shape enabling a locking fit between the lip and the domed surface of the beverage vessel. Also disclosed is a system wherein a smart device comprises at least one proximity, image or distance sensor having a beam of detection with a path, the sensor located and directed such the beam of detection covers a location where a coupler can be attached to the beverage vessel, the smart device configured to determine whether the coupler is attached to the beverage vessel by measuring whether the path is obstructed by the coupler. Also disclosed is a method of determining the fill status of a beverage container.

    摘要: A mini smart card and a method of manufacturing the mini smart card are introduced. The method includes disposing bilayered print layers on a top side and a bottom side of a circuit layer, respectively; performing a heat-compression treatment and then a printing treatment on the circuit layer and the bilayered print layers; removing surface layers from the bilayered print layers; and disposing transparent protective layers on the bilayered print layers, respectively. The bilayered print layers are prevented from deforming under the heat generated during the printing treatment. Removal of the surface layers from the bilayered print layers effectively reduces the thickness of the mini smart card.

    摘要: An IC card includes a first visible layer comprising a nonmetallic natural material having a physical structure including a unique visual pattern. The IC card further includes a storage device configured to store a reference image of the unique visual pattern. The reference image is a scan of the unique visual pattern. The reference image is configured to be visually compared with the unique visual pattern for authentication. A second layer is included on a bottom surface of the first visible layer. The first visible layer and the second layer are laminated together. Each of the second layer and the nonmetallic natural material of the first visible layer have a same size to define a shape of the IC card.

    摘要: Systems and methods subjecting a computer graphics object to a pseudo-random transformation to produce a surface-texture snapshot used to verify the authenticity of a host object. An example method includes generating a hash of a private manufacturer identifier, a product identifier, and a chain of ownership identifier and generating a three-dimensional surface using a first portion of the hash. The method also includes generating a texture pattern using a second portion of the hash and generating a surface-texture snapshot by mapping the texture pattern onto the three-dimensional surface. The surface-texture snapshot may be provided for imprinting on the host object. In some implementations, the surface-texture snapshot may be used as a first check in an authentication procedure.
