摘要: A card is provided, such as a credit card or security card, that may transmit information to a magnetic stripe reader via a magnetic emulator. The emulator may transmit the information in order to reduce the amount of circuitry needed to emulate a particular block of information. Additionally, for example, one or more buttons may be included on the card. Buttons may be includes, for example, to provide a control interface to navigate through various options of the card. Additionally, coding schemes may be selected via buttons. Furthermore, a card may be locked until a private number is entered into a card or a number may only be generated (e.g., displayed and/or emulated) once a particular private number is entered into a card.

摘要: In some implementations, a transaction card may include a card body having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The transaction card may include an integrated circuit (IC) chip embedded in the card body, and a plurality of first electrical contact sets electrically accessible from the first surface of the card body, where the plurality of first electrical contact sets have electrical connections to the IC chip. The transaction card may include a plurality of first magnetic stripe areas readable from the first surface of the card body. The transaction card may include a plurality of second electrical contact sets electrically accessible from the second surface of the card body, where the plurality of second electrical contact sets have electrical connections to the IC chip. The transaction card may include a plurality of second magnetic stripe areas readable from the second surface of the card body.

摘要: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method, a multi-function card, and an electronic device. The multi-function card may work as a SIM card or a memory card by using electrical contacts through time division multiplexing. Data is transmitted between the multi-function card and a processor in the electronic device, so that a function of subscriber identity identification can be implemented, and a storage capacity of the electronic device can be expanded. Storage space expanded in the electronic device may be used to store a picture, audio, a video, and an application program. The data transmission method and the multi-function card provided in embodiments of this application may be used to save physical space in the electronic device. This is conducive to lightening and thinning of the electronic device.

摘要: Disclosed is a smart device housing configured to fixably attach to a beverage vessel having a domed surface at a distal end, the domed surface adjacent a wall terminating at a lip, the smart device housing having an exterior configured as a transformable shape enabling a locking fit between the lip and the domed surface of the beverage vessel. Also disclosed is a system wherein a smart device has at least one proximity, image or distance sensor having a beam of detection with a path, the sensor located and directed such the beam of detection covers a location where a coupler can be attached to the beverage vessel, the smart device configured to determine whether the coupler is attached to the beverage vessel by measuring whether the path is obstructed by the coupler. Also disclosed is a method of determining the fill status of a beverage container.
