    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a particulate water-absorbent resin composition and its production process, wherein the particulate water-absorbent resin composition is an enhanced one in both of the “liquid permeability” and “liquid-sucking-up property” (which have hitherto been antithetical physical properties) of the water-absorbent resin. As a means of achieving this object, a first particulate water-absorbent resin composition according to the present invention is a particulate water-absorbent resin composition comprising a water-absorbent resin (A) of a crosslinked structure obtained by polymerizing an acid-group-containing unsaturated monomer, with the composition being characterized by: having a particle size such that particles in the range of 850 to 150 μm (but not including 850 μm) account for not less than 90 weight % of the entirety; and containing a tetra- or more functional polyol (B) at least on surfaces.

    摘要: As water-absorbing resin materials used, for example, as water-absorbing materials of paper diapers, the present invention realizes a water-absorbing resin composition whose basic water-absorbing performances, productivity, etc. are not spoiled but whose liquid diffusibility that is a practically important characteristic is improved drastically. A method for manufacturing the water-absorbing resin composition of the present invention includes the step of mixing the water-absorbing resin A and the inorganic fine particle B, which has been irradiated with ultraviolet rays, on condition that the amount of the inorganic fine particle B is from 0.01 part by weight to 10 parts by weight when the amount of the water-absorbing resin A is 100 parts by weight. Thus, it is possible to manufacture the water-absorbing resin composition whose liquid distribution velocity (LDV) is from 2.0 mm/s to 10 mm/s.

    摘要: The water absorbent resin composition and the production method thereof according to the present invention are characterized by including: water absorbent resin particles having an internal cross-linked structure obtained by polymerizing a water-soluble unsaturated monomer; a nitrogenous ketone compound (A) (containing no carboxyl group) having a structure represented by formula (1); and a bivalent and/or trivalent and/or tetravalent water-soluble metal salt, wherein a total amount of the nitrogenous ketone compound (A) and the bivalent and/or trivalent and/or tetravalent water-soluble metal salt ranges from 0.01 to 100 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the water absorbent resin particles, thereby providing a water absorbent resin composition, having an excellent absorption capacity represented by a centrifuge retention capacity (CRC), an absorbency against pressure of 4.83 kPa (AAP) etc., having excellent liquid permeability and liquid diffusion properties, having excellent fluidity at the time of moisture absorption, having an excellent damage resistance property, effectively suppressing occurrence of dusts, hardly bringing about permeation of added metal compounds into water absorbent resin particles, hardly bringing about segregation of added metal compounds.

With this, since a processing time of each step becomes short, it is possible to mass produce the water-absorbing resin having excellent physical properties. Moreover, a method for manufacturing the water-absorbing resin of the present invention includes a modifying step and a cooling step. The modifying step and/or the cooling step are/is carried out by using stirring means including a rotation axis having a plurality of stirring boards, and the stirring means includes the stirring board having a specific thickness and/or a scraping blade having a specific shape. With this, it is possible to suppress the generation of the fine powder in the modifying step and/or the cooling step.
