Abstract:
The present invention provides a drive method for an electronic paper display. The method comprises to display a present image. Then, color data of pixels of the present image is gathered. The color data is compared to select one of a first color and a second color to be as a main color. Finally, a refresh image is displayed in the electronic paper display following the present image based on the main color.

Abstract:
A display includes a first substrate, a partition element, a second substrate, a dielectric liquid, a plurality of dielectrophoretic particles and a plurality of electrophoretic particles. The partition element is disposed on the first substrate. The second substrate is disposed on the partition element. The partition element forms at least one accommodating room between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate or the second substrate is adapted to forming an electric field in the accommodating room. The dielectric liquid is disposed in the accommodating room and has a first dielectric constant. The dielectrophoretic particles are dispersed in the dielectric liquid. Each of the dielectrophoretic particles has a first color and a second dielectric constant different from the first one. The electrophoretic particles are dispersed in the dielectric liquid. Each of the electrophoretic particles has a second color different from the first one. Another display is also provided.
Abstract:
An electronic advertising method and an electronic apparatus are provided. In the method, an amount of a factor of the electronic apparatus in executing a task function is accumulated and whether the amount is over a preset value of the electronic apparatus or not is determined. An advertisement is displayed if the amount is over the preset value and a question according to content of the advertisement is displayed. An operation responding an answer to the question is detected and a non-advertisement function is executed if the operation is detected.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a color electrophoretic display device includes the following steps. First, a substrate having a displaying region and a circuit region around the displaying region is provided. Next, a driving array is formed in the displaying region. Subsequently, an electrophoretic display layer is formed on the driving array. Afterwards, a thermal transfer process is performed so that a color filter layer is formed on the electrophoretic display layer. The method can increase the production eligibility rate of the color electrophoretic display device, thereby improving the display quality of the color electrophoretic display device.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle detection system including the processing device, the bi-stable display connected to the processing device and the detector connected to the processing device. The detector detects the status information of the vehicle to be processed by the processing device, and then the processed status information is displayed on the bi-stable display. The processed status information can be displayed for a long time without power consumption. In addition, the upkeep/repair records and the status information further can be stored in the memory device, and the user is reminded to proceed the upkeep/repair and the to replace the vehicle's components.
Abstract:
A touch display apparatus comprises a touch display structure and a touch controller electrically connected thereto. The touch display structure comprises a display layer, an electric circuit layer, and a second electrode. The electric circuit layer, disposed under the display layer, comprises a substrate, a driving electrode, and a first electrode. The driving electrode and the first electrode are disposed on an upper surface and a lower surface of the substrate, respectively, and are electrically connected to the touch controller, respectively. The second electrode is disposed under the first electrode and electrically connects to the touch controller. The first electrode and the second electrode generate a touch control signal in response to a press of a user or an electromagnetic signal. The touch controller receives and processes the touch control signal, and then, the touch controller transmits the touch control signal to the driving electrode to drive the display layer.
Abstract:
