摘要： A toner-fixer apparatus 1 used in an electronic photograph printer includes: an apparatus main unit extending along a web fed in the electronic photograph printer; a hot-air-blower section having air ejection ports for blowing hot air onto the web; and an air-exhaust section for suctioning air into air exhaust ports having openings on the apparatus main unit opposed to the web. In this configuration, the toner-fixer apparatus obtains capabilities in terms of fixing toner used in a multi-color image, thermal efficiency, environmental load, and space saving.

摘要： A photoconductor drum cleaning apparatus in an electrophotographic printer is disclosed which is simple in makeup, which allows a wiping roll to be rotated to follow rotation of the photoconductor drum is rotated and to be serviced for a prolonged life and is capable of performing an improved cleaning operation. To this end, the photoconductor drum 1 comprises: disposed in order from upstream in the direction of the photoconductor drum, a blade scraper 11 contacting with the surface of the rotating photoconductor drum and a wiping roll 12 rotating reversely in rubbing contact with the surface of the rotating photoconductor drum; disposed upstream of an area of rubbing contact of the rotating wiping roll with the photoconductor drum, a squeezing roll 13 rotating normally in pressure contact with the surface of the rotating wiping roll; and disposed downstream of an area of rubbing contact of the rotating wiping roll with the photoconductor drum and upstream of the rotating squeeze roll, a brush roll 14 rotating normally or reversely in pressure contact with the surface of the rotating wiping roll, the brush roll having a portion of its outer periphery immersed in a cleaning carrier solution.

摘要： Read errors in a plurality of hard disks are detected at an early stage, and a redundancy is maintained when one of the hard disks breaks down. A hard-disk selector selects by priority a hard disk having a read error during a patrol. A verifying unit reads a predetermined amount of data from the hard disk selected. An error detector determines whether the read error has occurred. When it is determined that the read error has occurred, a replacing unit secures a spare area, and stores the corresponding data in the spare area.

摘要： A shutter has a cylindrical take-up member rotatable about the central shaft thereof, and a thin board having one end portion thereof fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the take-up member and deformable into a state rolled on the outer peripheral surface of the take-up member and having a spring force for returning to a flat state. The thin board is capable of operating between a liberating position in which in conformity with the rotated position of the take-up member, it is rolled onto the take-up member and retracts from a predetermined optical path to thereby permit the passage of light in the optical path and an intercepting position in which it is unrolled from the take-up member and assumes a flat shape and protrudes into the predetermined optical path to thereby intercept the light.

An apparatus for automatically assembling a bead apex according to the present invention comprises: a means for joining both the longitudinal ends of a strip apex having a triangular section with one short side and two long sides and a specified length to each other, and for forming the strip apex in a cylindrical body such that the long sides become the inner and outer peripheral surfaces; a means for forming the cylindrical body into a disk-like shape such that the short side becomes the inner peripheral surface and the long sides become the axial end surfaces; and a means for joining the inner peripheral surface of the disk-like apex to the outer peripheral surface of a bead ring.

摘要： A keytop sheet of a push-button switch includes a keytop, which is made of synthetic resin, molded on a sheet of resin film. A portion of the film sheet surrounding the portion thereof on which the keytop is molded is provided with a curved projection protruding in a downward and/or upward direction from the surface of the film sheet. Alternatively, a cut-out separates the portion of the film sheet on which the keytop is molded from the remainder of the film sheet while leaving a hinge portion, and a nameplate through which the keytop passes is attached to the film sheet so as to over the cut-out and hinge portion of the film sheet. The nameplate may have an outer diameter greater than that of the film sheet, and a frame made of synthetic resin is fixed to an underside of the film sheet on an outer peripheral portion thereof. The outer peripheral portion of the nameplate is bent and fixed to an outer peripheral side surface of the frame.

摘要： In a storage system, a disk device performs recovery and transfers read data to a control device, and the control device judges the validity of the recovery to prevent a transfer of erroneous data. A control device read-accesses a disk device, and the disk device returns read data and a recovered read error response. A control device, at the time of an initial recovered read error, performs a retry of a similar command, and if an error does not occur for read commands including the retry read command, judges the data to be valid. Uncertain data (suspect data) upon occurrence of a recovered read error is restored through disk retry, and accurate read data can be transferred to the host.

摘要： A keytop sheet of a push-button switch includes a keytop made of synthetic resin that is molded on a sheet of resin film. A portion of the film sheet surrounding the portion thereof on which the keytop is molded is provided with a curved projection protruding in a downward and/or upward direction from the surface of the film sheet. Such curved projection can be replaced by providing the portion of the film sheet surrounding the portion thereof on which the keytop is molded with a cut-out to form a hinge portion. A nameplate provided with a hole shaped so that the keytop may be passed therethrough is attached to the film sheet so as to cover the cut-out and hinge portion of the film sheet. The nameplate can have an outer diameter greater than that of the film sheet. A frame made of synthetic resin is fixed to an underside of the film sheet on an outer peripheral portion thereof. An outer peripheral portion of the nameplate is bent and fixed to an outer peripheral side surface of the frame.
