摘要:
An electric pushbutton switch includes a guide housing, a switching element having a haptic element that produces a pressure point and a return spring that generates a restoring force, an actuator for actuating the switching element, and a resilient tolerance compensation element arranged between the guide housing and the actuator. The switching element being stationary relative to the guide housing and the actuator being movable relative to the guide housing. The actuator actuates the switching element against the restoring force when the actuator is moved relative to the guide housing in an actuating direction of the actuator towards the switching element. The resilient tolerance compensation element is arranged between the guide housing and the actuator. The resilient compensation element has a spring force directed in the actuating direction of the actuator towards the switching element and opposite the restoring force of the return spring of the switching element.

An interchangeable hearing aid control panel with at least one activation zone arranged in connection with a layered structure. The layered structure has an electrically non-conducting substrate, an electrically conducting path arranged in connection with the substrate, and an electrically conducting member, such as a conducting foil, arranged at a predetermined distance from the activation zone. The activation zone can be either in a deactuated or in an actuated state. In the actuated state the conducting member and the conducting path are electrically connected while disconnected in the deactuated state. Electrical connection to an associated hearing aid is by means of a connector, such as a plug, enabling the control panel to be easily changed. Preferably, the connector is formed by a piece of flexprint. The layered structure may comprise a second conducting path. In preferred embodiments activation zones are indicated by “poppel domes” formed by a surface layer covering the layered structure. The activation zones may form an MTO control or a volume control. To fit BTE hearing aids, the layered structure preferably has an elongated structure with a length of 1-4 cm. Other shapes can be formed to fit ITE, ITC and CIC hearing aids. In preferred embodiments, the control panel comprises one or more Silicon-based microphones protected behind a surface layer of the control panel.

A key switch adapted to raise or lower a key top according to need is disclosed. The key switch includes a key top, a link assembly comprised of two link members and operatively connected to the key top, which is retracted by a pressure on the key top and extended by release of the pressure and which has an elastic member at its lower end, an FPC placed on a frame of a keyboard to recognize pressing of the key top, and a plate movably placed on the FPC, to which a lower end of one of the link members is connected, and which has an elastic supporting member being in contact with the elastic member of the link assembly. When the key top is pressed down, the link assembly is retracted while compressing the elastic member of the link assembly and the elastic supporting member of the plate. When the link assembly is further lowered, an elastic resistance of the elastic supporting member is suddenly increased, and thus the elastic member of the first link member is suddenly bent and quickly lowered, thereby affording a click sense to a user and enabling the bent portion of the elastic member to press the FPC.

A switch device having uniform operability includes an operating member which is rockably stopped by a case, a rubber spring including four spring sections which are disposed at peripheral edges of the operating member inside the case, respectively, and three switches which are disposed in correspondence with three of the four spring sections. The spring sections are selectively actuated two at a time as a result of rocking the operating member in one direction. In the switch device, the spring sections are actuated and buckled by operating the operating member in order to switch the switches. In addition, the click ratio of the spring section which is not provided with a switch is greater than the click ratios of the spring sections which are provided with the switches.

Pivotal movement of a switch actuator drives a finger projecting from the actuator against a convexly bowed leaf spring, depressing an intermediate portion of the leaf spring to an unstable concave condition. The leaf spring resists the actuator movement, initially with an increasing force but changing to a decreasing force at a predictable point in actuator movement to provide tactile feedback at an operator affixed to the actuator. The leaf spring is a flat beam. The spring foce and point of changeover can be readily and predictably varied during manufacture by selecting springs having different widths, thicknesses or other variable parameters. A modular block holds the spring in the bowed condition and is positioned relative to the actuator finger by a support plate. The actuator finger drives the spring against a conductive rubber block, compressing the block against spaced conductors on a printed circuit to complete the circuit. A plurality of such switches are made in a common package by layering a printed circuit, insulator sheet, conductive rubber sheet with raised bosses, detent support plate and a plurality of detent blocks with bowed springs, between a base and a cover. Back lit illumination is provided by a light pipe trapped against the cover as an additional layer. A microprocessor board, connected to the internal printed circuit, is attached to the switch housing exteriorly of the base.

A push-button switch comprises a fixed electrode; a movable electrode disposed opposite to the fixed electrode; a key housing having a tubular spring retainer, and an annular guide wall surrounding the tubular spring retainer and having a stopping flange, a coil spring received in the tubular spring retainer, and a key for operating the movable electrode through the coil spring. The coil spring has a large coil section, a middle extension coil section, and a small compression coil section having a projecting part. The tubular spring retainer is provided with a protrusion on the inner circumference thereof. When the key is depressed to close the switch, the projecting part of the coil spring is forced to move down over the protrusion in a snap motion, and the projecting part is forced to move up over the protrusion by the contractive force of the middle extension coil section and the recoiling force of the small compression coil section of the coil spring when the key is released. Thus, the operation of the switch can be detected by the sense of touch.

An integral multiswitch display panel (FIG. 3) having a plurality of pushbutton switches (A1-4, B1-4, C1-4, D1-4) mounted thereon along with a signal lamp (16) for each switch. A control circuitry P.C. board (44) and a display drive P.C. board (10) are common to all the switches with the control contacts (40, 42) of the switches controlling the displays (24) within the respective pushbuttons to provide on-off or alpha-numeric informational indications in response to operation of the bushbutton switches. The printed circuit lines of the control circuitry P.C. board (44) are connected through hermetically sealed connectors (50, 52, 54) at the bottom of the display panel to external controlled circuits with at least some of these lines being connected to the display drive P.C. board (10) for controlling the displays (24). The pushbuttons are environmentally sealed by a common seal (8) to prevent dirt, water, and the like from entering inside the panel housing (2, 4).

A keyboard (61) includes plural keybar actuators (11) each including plural keys (19, 23, 27, 31) hingedly interconnected (25, 29, 33) and a sensing device (13). The keys of a keybar actuator are all actuated by a common finger (45) in touch typing and therefore are not jointly actuated. Depression of one key causes the keybar actuator (11) to pivot and the sensing device (13) indicates which key is depressed depending upon the amount of keybar actuator rotation. Alternate sensing devices include individual contact switches (79-81) associated with each key.

A pushbutton, particularly a key of a keyboard, comprises an upper part for operation by finger touch and a lower part serving to operate an activating member, such as an electrical contact, the lower part being constructed with two surface portions of different inclination to the direction of movement of the pushbutton, said surface portions being engaged by a spring wire so as to create a sudden drop of the restoring spring force when the spring wire passes from the more inclined surface portion to the less inclined surface portion.
