Abstract:
An installation for treating articles by radiation, the installation comprising a structure (1) having an article transport device (10) mounted thereon with a portion housed in a shielded enclosure (2) in the vicinity of at least one radiation emitter (3), the enclosure including a tunnel (40) having internal transverse partitions (51, 52, 53, 54) defining a baffle passage (50) through which there extends a segment of the transport device. The partitions are arranged in such a manner that the baffle passage extends in a plane that is substantially vertical.A packaging installation including such a processing installation.
Abstract:
An installation comprising a first platform having a first holder device comprising a first pair of jaws, and a second platform having a second holder device comprising a second pair of jaws. Each pair of jaws comprising a stationary jaw and a movable jaw mounted on the stationary jaw to be movable between a closed position and an open position. A resilient element connecting the two jaws together urges the movable jaw towards the closed position. The two pairs of jaws are provided with co-operation devices enabling them to transfer a container from one platform to another by co-operation between the pairs of jaws.
Abstract:
An installation for transporting containers, the installation comprising a rotary platform (1, 2) provided in its periphery with slots (7.1, 7.2), a jaw (8.1, 8.2) being mounted on the platform in the vicinity of each slot in order to be movable between a closed position for holding a container in the slot and an open position. Each jaw comprises a resilient element (9.1, 9.2) having a portion (9.11, 9.21) fastened to the platform in the vicinity of the slot in order to have a free end (9.12, 9.22) that extends facing the slot and that is elastically deformable between a rest state in which the free end co-operates with a side wall of the slot to define a section smaller than the cross-section of the neck, and a deformed state in which the free end cooperates with the side wall of the slot to define a section greater than the cross-section of the neck.
Abstract:
A spout for filling containers with a liquid is provided. The spout has a body defining a liquid feed duct and has a bottom terminal portion in which there extends firstly a plurality of dispenser channels in communication with the feed duct and secondly an exhaust channel in communication with a vent of the filler spout. The dispenser channels have a flow section that is smaller than the flow section of the feed duct.
Abstract:
An installation for processing articles, the installation comprising an article-transfer device extending between two processing stations, the transfer device comprising a rail having at least one rectilinear segment and defining a closed travel path for carriages that are mounted on the rail to move freely therealong, each of which is provided with means for driving at least one article, the transfer device comprising a screw extending along the rectilinear segment of the rail and having a thread that co-operates with fingers secured to the carriages in order to drive the carriages along the rectilinear segment.
Abstract:
Screw cap tightener apparatus comprising a turntable, a spindle mounted on the turntable to rotate relative thereto, a screw cap gripper head secured to the spindle, drive means to rotate the spindle by exerting an off-center drive force on the spindle, means for engaging a portion of the spindle that is stationary in rotation to detect a force applied in reaction to the drive force, and means for stopping tightening, said means being connected to the detector means to stop tightening when the force applied in reaction exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Abstract:
A filler station for a packaging installation for packaging a substance in containers, the station having a filler spout having a spout body with a bottom end provided with an orifice fitted with a controlled delivery valve. The spout is provided with at least one suction channel extending in the bottom end of the spout body between the outside of the filler station and the inside of the spout body so as to open out inside the spout body above the orifice. An associated installation and method.
Abstract:
A valve actuator includes moving equipment arranged to cause a plug of said equipment to slide along a given axis between two end positions. The moving equipment includes a core constrained to move in translation with the plug along the given axis. The actuator also includes a coil lying between two rings of ferromagnetic material, all three of which are secured to a frame of the actuator so as to surround the core, which itself carries two magnets mounted in opposition on the core level with the coil, a ring of ferromagnetic material lying between the two magnets that also lie between two other rings of ferromagnetic material. A valve and a machine may be fitted with such an actuator.

Abstract:
A filler spout including a tubular body having mounted therein a valve member extending facing a valve seat and a secondary shutter arranged in a distribution chamber downstream from the valve member and rigidly connected thereto with a small amount of axial clearance between the valve member and the secondary shutter, and a movable portion of an actuator being coupled to the valve member in order to move it between an extreme closure position and an extreme opening position. The valve member possesses an intermediate closure position and includes a portion that is received in a bore opening out into the distribution chamber in order to form a suction system when the valve member is moved from the extreme closure position to the intermediate closure position.
