    Abstract: A circular saw includes a base with a first opening, a blade guard coupled to the base, and a saw blade at least partially positioned within the blade guard and extending through the first opening. The saw blade and the blade guard are pivotable relative to the base to adjust a cutting depth of the saw blade relative to the base. The circular saw also includes a housing supported by the blade guard, a motor positioned within the housing that is operable to rotate the saw blade about a rotational axis, a cutting depth guide coupled to the base and positioned adjacent the blade guard, and a battery receptacle to receive a battery pack for providing power to the motor. The battery receptacle spaced from the housing to define a second opening for viewing the cutting depth guide along a line of sight that is parallel with the rotational axis.

An electrode configuration may provide for a continuous length of electrode material disposed along a longitudinal edge of at least one of the cathode or anode. Additionally or alternatively, an electrode configuration may provide for a plurality of electrode tabs of electrode material spaced out along a longitudinal edge of at least one of the anode or cathode.

    Abstract: A tool including a motor, a transmission including a ring gear including a face having a linear portion and ramps extending a fixed axial distance, a spindle, a setting collar, and a clutch coupled to the transmission. The collar is rotatable between predetermined angular positions including a first position corresponding to a non-torque-limited first operation mode and a plurality of second positions corresponding to different torque output settings of a torque-limited second operation mode. The clutch includes a follower positioned between a clutch washer and the face, and a clutch sleeve coupled to the collar that is movable a variable axial distance from the clutch washer dependent on the collar position. In the first angular position corresponding to the first mode, the fixed axial distance is greater than the variable axial distance, and in the second angular positions, the variable axial distance is greater than the fixed axial distance.

    Abstract: A dispensing device for dispensing a viscous material from a cartridge received in the device includes a main housing, a front support, a rear plunger assembly, a motor, and gear assembly. The rear plunger assembly is spaced apart from the front support by an elongate member. The rear plunger assembly includes a plunger plate supported in a plunger housing above a cutting edge. The rear plunger assembly is rotatable about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the elongate member. The motor and gear assembly are disposed in the housing and are engageable with the elongate member to move one of the front support and the rear plunger assembly toward each other, thereby urging the cutting edge of the rear plunger assembly against an edge of the cartridge as the plunger plate is driven against the cartridge to expel the viscous material from the cartridge.
