Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for implementing wireless service for a wireless device. In a representative embodiment, a service initiation system is executed in a computing device that communicates with a service provider system over a network to activate a wireless service associated with a newly purchased wireless device. The service initiation system also generates a network page to send to a client over the network, where the network page has a component that initiates a porting of a contact designation associated with a prior wireless device to the newly purchased wireless device separate from the activation of the wireless service for the newly purchased wireless device.

Abstract: Anomalous interactions with a website or other system may be detected based on the types of characteristics associated with previous anomalous interactions, independent of the values associated with those characteristics. Historical data is used to determine characteristics of interactions, each characteristic having a type and a value. For historical interactions in which a set of characteristic values are associated with a potentially anomalous interaction, the characteristic types are analyzed in subsequent interactions. If values for those characteristic types occur at a frequency greater than a threshold frequency for a set of subsequent interactions, this may indicate that the interactions are anomalous. Use of the characteristic types for this purpose, rather than historical characteristic values, enables anomalous interactions to be detected independent of the characteristic values associated with the interactions.

Abstract: Described are systems and methods for generating sleep scores based at least in part on the visual appearance of hypnograms. The disclosed implementations generate an embedding vector representative of the visual appearance of a hypnogram and utilize that embedding to determine a sleep score of the sleep session represented by the hypnogram. For example, a deep neural network, such as a convolutional neural network (“CNN”), may be trained with input data that includes hypnograms that have been labeled according to their sleep quality, or sleep score. The trained network may then be provided with an unlabeled hypnogram, generate an embedding representative of that hypnogram, and determine a sleep score corresponding to that hypnogram.
