摘要: An eSIM device configuration system, method and apparatus and a storage medium are disclosed, which relate to the technical field of communication. The eSIM device configuration system includes an eSIM device, an eSIM operation terminal and an eSIM management terminal. The eSIM device detects a wireless environment to obtain wireless information and reports the wireless information to the eSIM operation terminal. The eSIM operation terminal selects a proper integrate circuit card identity according to the wireless information. The eSIM management terminal generates a Profile according to the integrate circuit card identity and sends the Profile to the eSIM device for activation, and selects a proper Profile by selecting a proper integrate circuit card identity to be written into the eSIM device, thus optimizing a communication network of the eSIM device.

摘要: A method is provided which includes receiving location information, performing a selection operation to select an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) for obtaining temporary bootstrap connectivity, and attempting to register with a network using the selected IMSI. The selection operation is configured to select one of a first plurality of IMSIs in a first location and one of a second, different, plurality of IMSIs in a second location. Each of the first plurality of IMSIs includes a first predetermined value for at least the first portion of each respective IMSI and each of the second plurality of IMSIs includes a second, different, predetermined value for at least the first portion of each respective IMSI. The selection operation comprises a first and second preconfigured selection characteristic. A network access element, host device, and network node, according to the method, are also described.

摘要: Implementations of the subject technology provide for storing a temporary certificate on a mobile device for accessing services in association with a primary number. A device determines that a first subscriber identity module (SIM) card, previously used by the device, is not available for use by the device. The device determines that a second SIM card is available for use by the first device within a predetermined time period after the first SIM card is determined to be not available for use by the device. The device confirms that a communication identifier of the first SIM card is strongly tied to a user account associated with the device. The device stores a temporary certificate that attests to continued ownership of the communication identifier by the device and allows the device to access at least one service in association with the communication identifier.

摘要: In certain embodiments, carrier-specific configuration of a user device may be facilitated based on pre-stored information for multiple carriers. In some embodiments, a user device may store information for limited access (that allows the user device to obtain carrier-specific parameters from carrier networks). During activation, the user device may select one of the carrier networks on which the user device is to be configured to operate. Responsive to the selection, the user device may provide, to a carrier-side computer system on the selected carrier network, a request for limited access to the selected carrier network for configuring the user device, wherein the request comprises the stored access information that allows the user device to obtain carrier-specific parameters via the selected carrier network. Responsive to the limited access being granted, the user device may obtain a configuration package from the carrier-side computer system comprising parameters for configuring the user device.

When the option is accepted, the mobile device enables a cellular data roaming capability for the mobile device, activates or updates the SIM via the local roaming cellular wireless network, and, after the SIM is activated or updated, disables the cellular data roaming capability for the mobile device.

In some embodiments, a base station in a cellular communications network comprises, during initial attachment of a wireless device, establishing a Data Radio Bearer (DRB) between the base station and the wireless device, updating a context of the wireless device to include information regarding the DRB established between the base station and the wireless device to thereby provide a mapping between the DRB and a cellular network identifier of the wireless device. The method further comprises, during initial attachment of the wireless device, providing, to the wireless device, at least a portion of an Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned to the wireless device and updating the context of the wireless device to include the at least a portion of the IP address of the wireless device.
