    Abstract: A battery management system and a battery management method are provided. The battery management system includes a switching circuit, a switching circuit controller, a communication interface, a processor, and a timer. The switching circuit is coupled to the switching circuit controller. The communication interface is coupled to a system circuit. The processor is coupled to the switching circuit controller and the communication interface. The timer is coupled to the processor. In response to the processor determining that the system circuit stops communicating with the communication interface, the processor controls the timer to accumulate a continuous downtime of communication. In response to the processor determining that the continuous downtime of communication is greater than a default time threshold, the processor controls the switching circuit controller to cut off the switching circuit.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system for battery parameter update. The method is adapted to update a first battery parameter set of a target battery module, and includes: collecting a plurality of second battery parameter sets to a server when updating of a plurality of other battery modules are completed; classifying the second battery parameter sets based on a collection condition and storing them as reference battery parameter sets; determining whether the target battery module has not updated the first battery parameter set for more than a specified time; selecting a suitable battery parameter set close to a use state of the target battery module from the reference battery parameter sets when the target battery module does not update the first battery parameter set for more than the specified time; and updating the first battery parameter set of the target battery module according to the suitable battery parameter set.

    Abstract: A battery module with a battery housing includes a first conducting layer, at least one battery cell, a second conducting layer, an insulating layer, and a detecting circuit. The first conducting layer is disposed inside the battery housing. The battery cell is disposed inside the battery housing and opposite to the first conducting layer. The second conducting layer is disposed on the battery cell. The insulating layer is disposed between the first conducting layer and the second conducting layer. The first conducting layer, the second conducting layer, and the insulating layer form an internal capacitor. The detecting circuit is electrically connected with the first conducting layer and the second conducting layer for detecting a capacitance value of the internal capacitor.
