Abstract: The present invention provides a color filter substrate and a liquid crystal display device, belongs to the field of liquid crystal display technology, and can overcome the color shift problems in existing liquid crystal display device. The color filter substrate of the present invention comprises: a first substrate, a black matrix and a color film layer provided on the first substrate, wherein the color film layer comprises a plurality of pixel units arranged periodically and repeatedly in a matrix, each pixel unit includes at least two sub-pixels of different colors, each sub-pixel comprises a color filter film, a first common electrode disposed on the color filter film, and a dielectric layer disposed on the first common electrode, wherein the thicknesses of the dielectric layer at at least two locations within each pixel unit are different.
