Abstract: A replacement heart valve commissure assembly may include: a locking mechanism including a first locking portion spaced apart from a second locking portion in a delivery configuration and configured to engage the second locking portion in a deployed configuration, the first locking portion being longitudinally actuatable relative to the second locking portion between the delivery and deployed configurations; and first and second valve leaflets secured to the first locking portion. A first sleeve portion of the first valve leaflet may be fixedly attached to a first fabric sleeve wrapped around a first leg of the first locking portion. A second sleeve portion of the second valve leaflet may be fixedly attached to a second fabric sleeve wrapped around a second leg of the first locking portion. The first fabric sleeve may include first and second end portions, and an elastic central portion configured to engage the first leg.

Abstract: A replacement heart valve post and leaflet assembly may include at least a first post member including a body portion, a cantilevered leg portion, and a hinge portion configured to connect the body portion and the cantilevered leg portion and one or more leaflets. The cantilevered leg portion may comprise a longitudinally extending slot defined therein. At least a portion of a leaflet may extend through the slot. A backing element may be positioned over a portion of a leaflet such that the leaflet is secured between the cantilevered leg portion and the backing element.

Abstract: A replacement heart valve locking mechanism may include a buckle member fixedly attached to a tubular anchor member defining a central longitudinal axis, a post member axially translatable relative to the buckle member, and an actuator member releasably connected to the post member at an attachment point. The post member may include a latch portion configured to engage a catch formed in the buckle member such that movement of the post member distally relative to the buckle member is prevented. The attachment point may be disposed proximal of the latch portion. Circumferential translation of the latch portion about the central longitudinal axis may disengage the latch portion from the catch.
