摘要: Vascular prosthesis includes a luminal graft component defining a graft fenestration, at least one support disk fenestration, and a moveable disk defining a moveable disk opening, wherein the graft fenestration, the support disk fenestration and the moveable disk opening are all aligned, and the moveable disk is sandwiched between the support disk and the luminal graft component or between two of the support disks. The moveable disk is moveable between the support disk and the luminal graft component. The support disk is fixed to the luminal graft component. The vascular prosthesis is implanted by a method that includes directing the vascular prosthesis to an aneurysm site of a patient, and then implanting a branch prosthesis through the graft fenestration and into an arterial branch, whereby the moveable disk opening moves within the support disk fenestration to properly align the branch prosthesis with the arterial branch.

The sutures through which the ligature extends are spaced relative to each other. 摘要: Methods and devices for transvascular prosthetic chordae tendinea implantation are disclosed. A catheter is advanced into the left atrium. From an atrium side, the catheter can be anchored to a superior surface of a mitral valve leaflet and a leaflet anchor can be advanced into the mitral valve leaflet to secure the mitral valve leaflet to a leaflet suture. A ventricular anchor is anchored to the wall of the ventricle to secure the ventricular wall to a ventricle suture. The leaflet suture and the ventricle suture may be tensioned and connected by a suture lock to form an artificial chordae.

摘要: A system for implanting a repair device onto a native valve of a natural heart to repairing the native valve of a patient during a non-open-heart procedure. The system includes a pair of paddles and a pair of gripping members. The paddles are movable between an open position and a closed position. Each of the gripping members has a barbed portion for securing the gripping members to the native valve of a patient. Each gripping member is slidably attached to a corresponding paddle. Each gripping member can be moved in a first direction along the paddle before the barbed portion of the gripping member pierces the native valve of the patient. Each gripping member can be moved in a direction substantially opposite the first direction after the barbed portion pierces the native valve of the patient such that the gripping members create a tensioning force on the native valve of the patient.

摘要: A stent-valve for transcatheter implantation to replace a cardiac valve, the stent valve being compressible to a compressed state for delivery, and expandable to an operative state for implantation, the stent-valve comprising a stent, a plurality of leaflets for defining a prosthetic valve, an inner skirt, an outer skirt, and a paravalve seal for sealing against surrounding tissue. In some embodiments, the paravalve seal comprises material that swells in response to contact with blood. In some embodiments, the seal comprises a flap or pocket that is distensible in response to backpressure and/or paravalve back-flow of blood.

摘要: Embodiments of a radially collapsible and expandable prosthetic heart valve are disclosed. A valve frame can have a tapered profile when mounted on a delivery shaft, with an inflow end portion having a smaller diameter than an outflow end portion. The valve can comprise generally V-shaped leaflets, reducing material within the inflow end of the frame. An outer skirt can be secured to the outside of the inflow end portion of the frame, the outer skirt having longitudinal slack when the valve is expanded and lying flat against the frame when the valve is collapsed. A diagonally woven inner skirt can elongate axially with the frame. Side tabs of adjacent leaflets can extend through and be secured to window frame portions of the frame to form commissures. The window frame portions can be depressed radially inward relative to surrounding frame portions when the valve is crimped onto a delivery shaft.
