    Abstract: The invention provides a multimodal propylene butene random copolymer having a melt flow rate (MFR2) of 1.0 to 20.0 g/10 min and a butene content of 1.5 to 8.0 wt %, wherein said copolymer is prepared using a single site catalyst and wherein said copolymer comprises (i) 30 to 70 wt % of a propylene butene copolymer (A) having an MFR2 of 0.5 to 20.0 g/10 min and a butene content of 0.5 to 10.0 wt %; and (ii) 70 to 30 wt % of a propylene butene copolymer (B) having an MFR2 of 0.5 to 20.0 g/10 min and a butene content of 1.0 to 8.0 wt %; wherein copolymers (A) and (B) are different.

    Abstract: A heterophasic polypropylene copolymer having an MFR2 of 0.05 to 20 g/10 min (ISO 1133 at 230° C. with a loading of 2.16 kg) and a melting point (Tm) of 156 to 164° C. (measured by DSC according to ISO 11357) wherein the heterophasic polypropylene copolymer comprises at least the following components: (A) 55.0 to 95.0 wt % of a crystalline fraction (CF) having a comonomer content of 0 to 3.0 wt %; and (B) 5.0 to 45.0 wt % of a soluble fraction (SF) having a comonomer content of 12 to 45 wt %; wherein the intrinsic viscosity (IV) (in decalin at 135° C.) of the soluble fraction (SF) is 2.5 to 11 dl/g, and wherein the amount of crystalline fraction (CF) and the amount of soluble fraction (SF) are determined in 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene at 40° C.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a propylene polymer composition comprising (a) at least 90 wt. %, based on the weight of the total propylene homopolymer composition, of a propylene homopolymer having (i) a pentad isotacticity (mmmm) of equal or more than 98.0 mol.-%, determined by quantitative 13C NMR spectroscopy, (ii) a relative amount of erythro regio-defects of not more than 0.2 mol.-%, determined by quantitative 13C NMR spectroscopy, as described herein, and (b) a nucleating agent (B) selective for the beta-modification of isotactic polypropylene in an amount of from 0.001 to 1.0 wt. %, based on the weight of the total propylene homopolymer composition, wherein said propylene homopolymer composition has a melt flow rate MFR2 (230° C., 2.16 kg) according to ISO 1133 of 0.1 to 10 g/10 min., a beta-phase content of not less than 80%, measured by wide angle x-ray scattering (WAXS). Further disclosed is a moulded propylene homopolymer product obtainable by compression moulding or extrusion of the propylene homopolymer composition.
