Abstract: A thermoformable sheet includes an exterior film, a printed pigment layer, an adhesive layer, an inner layer, and an interior sealing layer. The exterior film includes between 50% and 100% polyolefin-based polymers, by weight. The inner layer includes between 60% and 100% of high-density polyethylene polymer, by weight. The inner layer further includes a thickness between 100 microns and 350 microns. The printed pigment layer and the adhesive layer are located between the exterior film and the inner layer.

Abstract: A paper based overlay is provided. The overlay has a paper impregnated with a resin composition having an acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature in a range of from about −20° C. to about 40° C. and a resin content from about 15 to about 35 wt. % based on the weight of the overlay. The acrylic composition may include wax in the amount of about 0.005 to about 3.5 wt. % based on the weight of the resin composition. A method of producing the overlay is also provided. The overlay is highly water and abrasion resistant with low volatile content.

Abstract: A golf club shaft includes a plurality of fiber reinforced resin layers, a tip end, and a butt end. Each of the transition portions connects two of the extending portions. The extending portions include at least one intermediate portion connecting two of the transition portions. The number of the transition portions is greater than or equal to 2, and may be greater than or equal to 3. The extending portions may include a tip extending portion and a butt extending portion.

Abstract: A composite silt fence configured for capturing pollutants in one embodiment comprises a silt fence fabric including i) a polymeric geotextile fabric particulate filtering layer defining the hydraulic flow capacity for the silt fence, ii) a pollutant capturing layer coupled to the polymeric geotextile fabric particulate filtering layer and configured to capture some select pollutants in water from flow that has passed through the polymeric geotextile fabric particulate filtering layer, and iii) a backing layer coupled to the pollutant capturing layer; and a plurality of stakes secured to the silt fence fabric at spaced locations. The silt fence fabric yields higher hydraulic flow than existing fence constructions with greater sediment retention and pollutant containment features.

Abstract: Provided is a carpet comprising a textile top member, which includes carpet yarns and a nonwoven primary backing that is coupled with the carpet yarns so that the primary backing structurally supports the carpet yarns. The nonwoven primary backing has a layered configuration of fibers where the average fiber diameters of the fibers in one layer differs from the average fiber diameter in the layer or layers adjacent thereto. The layers are configured to mechanically reinforce and stabilize the carpet yarns. A secondary backing is coupled with the textile top member via a thermoplastic material. The carpet can be a carpet tile or a carpet rug.
