Abstract: Methods and systems for management of subscriber identities associated with user devices are described herein. The user device may enroll the user device to a server and lock a subscriber identity associated with the device by setting a password on the subscriber identity. If a credential entered by a user is verified, the subscriber identity associated with the device may be unlocked. Alternatively, the user device may retrieve one or more identities associated with the user, the user device and/or the subscriber identity. A server may register the one or more identities with a database. If the user device sends a request to connect to the network, the server may verify the one or more identities retrieved by the user device to determine whether to grant access from the user device to the network.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing privacy protection for video conference screen sharing. An example methodology implementing the techniques includes receiving a video stream of a first participant in a video conference session between at least the first participant and a second participant, wherein the first participant is associated with a first conference client device and the second participant is associated with a second conference client device, and determining that the first participant is performing screen sharing. The method also includes identifying a first item of content in the video stream to shield from being viewable during rendering of the video stream, obfuscating the identified first item of content in the video stream, and providing the video stream showing the obfuscated first item of content to the second conference client device to be rendered for display on a display device of the second conference client device.

Abstract: A system and method that automatically saves a message sender's contact information in the local contacts of a message receiver. A described method includes receiving, at a second email client installed on a user device, a message from a first email client via an email server and analyzing the message at the second email client to determine whether the message triggers an automated contact save. In in response to determining that the message triggers the automated contact save and the message includes a requisite contact information of the sender, saving the requisite contact information in a set of local contacts on the user device. In response to determining that the message triggers the automated contact save and the message does not include the requisite contact information of the sender, retrieving the requisite contact information of the sender from an identity server and saving the requisite contact information in the set of local contacts on the user device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining text for translation are described herein. A client device may receive a content item containing text and a user may need to have only some of the text translated. The client device may cause subsets of the text to be translated. The client device may use translation data that may indicate which subsets of text within a content item should be translated and one or more target languages to translate the text into. The translation data may contain user preferences indicating which text portions a particular user desires to be translated. The translation data may be created and modified using machine learning. A machine learning model may learn which text portions should be translated based on what users have requested to be translated in the past and may determine which text portions of a content item should be translated.

Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting hard-coded strings in source code are described herein. According to an aspect of an example method, a first list of strings may be generated via a processor. The first list of strings may include strings that are embedded in source code of an application. A second list of strings may be generated. The second list of strings may include strings that are rendered via a user interface of the application. Each string of the first list of strings may be compared against the strings of the second list of strings. Based on the comparison, a filtered list of strings may be generated by removing, from the first of strings, at least one string that does not have a match in the second list of strings. By this method, the software development process, and especially updating, maintaining, and localizing code, may become more efficient and cost-effective.
