Abstract: An apparatus for determining system model comparison is disclosed. The apparatus includes a processor and a memory communicatively linked to the processor. The memory instructs the processor to receive a first plurality of system data, wherein the first plurality of system data represents a first state of a system, and a second plurality of system data representing a second of the system. The memory instructs the processor to generate a first and second model of the system using the system data. The memory instructs the processor to output a first model output using the first model of the system and the second plurality of system data. The memory instructs the processor to modify the second plurality of system data using perturbation function. The memory instructs the processor to output a second model output using the second model of the system and the modified second plurality of system data. The memory instructs a processor to compare the first model output to the second model output using an optimization function. The memory instructs a processor to generate a state change output corresponding to the system using the comparison.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for orchestrating application performance testing using state machines. For instance, at least a portion of information included in a request to run a performance test on an application may be received, the portion including each component of the application. Each component of the application may be deployed in a performance testing environment, and a script for the performance test may be generated based on one or more application performance metrics associated with the application. The performance test may be generated in accordance with the script and run on the application in the performance testing environment. Upon detecting a completion of the performance test, each component of the application deployed in the performance testing environment may be destroyed.

Abstract: A device includes memory blocks; connections respectively coupled to the memory blocks; and control logic coupled to the memory blocks. The control logic is operable to control performance of error-related transactions on the memory blocks via the connections. Such control may include causing a first error-related transaction to be performed on a first memory block of the memory blocks during a first time period, causing a second error-related transaction to be performed on a second memory block of the memory blocks during a second time period, and causing a transaction that is not an error-related transaction to be performed on at least one of the memory blocks, except the first memory block, during performance of one or both of the first error-related transaction and the second error-related transaction.

Abstract: Techniques are described for generating an encoded-string automaton for a regex pattern from a decoded-string automaton of the regex pattern. In an embodiment, the process obtains a decoded-string automaton of the regex pattern and applies unique decoded string value(s) from the dictionary of the encoding. When applied at a selected state in the decoded-string automaton, the application may yield a transition to at least one target state in the decoded-string automaton for a unique dictionary value. Such a transition generates a transition in the encoded-string automaton from an encoded state corresponding to the selected state in the decoded-string automaton to a target state in the encoded-string automaton corresponding to the target state in the decoded-string automaton. The generated transition in the encoded-string automaton is conditioned on the token of the unique decoded string value in the dictionary.

Abstract: Techniques for determining and displaying error messages including a cause of an error generated because two types are not members of the same nest are disclosed. The system detects, at runtime, an instruction in a first type that attempts to access a private member of a second type. The system evaluates one or more nestmate criteria to determine whether the first type and the second type are within a same nest. A nest host corresponding to the nest specifies each nest member of the nest, and each nest member specifies an association with the nest. Responsive to determining that a particular nestmate criterion is not met, the system determines that the first type and the second type are not within the same nest and records or displays data identifying the particular nestmate criterion that has not been met, and throws an access error.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a first request to allocate a line in an N-way set associative cache and, in response to a cache coherence state of a way indicating that a cache line stored in the way is invalid, allocating the way for the first request. The method also includes, in response to no ways in the set having a cache coherence state indicating that the cache line stored in the way is invalid, randomly selecting one of the ways in the set. The method also includes, in response to a cache coherence state of the selected way indicating that another request is not pending for the selected way, allocating the selected way for the first request.
