Abstract: The present application provides a cathode plate, a secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an electric device. The cathode plate includes: a current collector, a conductive coating, and a cathode active layer. The conductive coating is arranged on at least one surface of the current collector. The conductive coating includes a conductive agent having a weight content of 20% to 50% and a binder having a weight content of 50%˜80%. The cathode active layer is arranged on a surface of the conductive coating away from the current collector, and a cathode active material in the cathode active layer is at least one of a lithium manganate-based cathode material, a ternary cathode material, and a quaternary cathode material.

Abstract: Provided is a secondary battery. The secondary battery includes a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode, an electrolyte, and a separator, where the positive electrode active material contains a transition metal element, and a molar ratio of Mn in the transition metal element, r(Mn), satisfies 0.3≤r(Mn)≤1; and the electrolyte contains an additive selected from at least one of a compound, a compound, and a compound capable of complexing manganese ions, and a compound serving as a lithium salt. A total mass percentage of the compound, compound, and compound in the electrolyte is W1%, where W1% is 0.1% to 5%; a molar ratio C1 (mol/L) of the compound in the electrolyte satisfies 0.2≤C1≤1.5; and r(Mn), C1 and W1% satisfy the following relation: 13≤(100W1%+12C1)/r(Mn)≤20.

Abstract: The present application discloses a multi-layer composite separator, a secondary battery and an electrical device containing the same, the multi-layer composite separator including a first substrate layer and a second substrate layer, wherein the multi-layer composite separator further includes a water-scavenging material and an acid-scavenging material, the acid-scavenging material being disposed between the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer, and the water-scavenging material being disposed on at least one surface of the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer. The secondary battery of the present application has high energy density and long service life at the same time.
