摘要: Lithium-ion battery comprising at least one stack which comprises successively: a first electronic current collector, a first porous electrode made of a material selected from the group formed by Nb2−xM1xO5−δM3δ, Nb18−xM1xW16−yM2yO93−δM3δ, Nb16−xM1xW5−yM2yO55−δM3δ, Nb2O5−δ with 0≤δ≤2, Nb18W16O93−δ with 0≤δ≤2, Nb16W5O55−δ with 0≤δ≤2, Li4Ti5O12 and Li4Ti5−xMxO12 with M=V, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta and 0≤x≤0.25, a porous separator made of an electronically insulating inorganic material, a second porous electrode made of a phosphate or a lithium oxide, and a second electronic current collector, knowing that the electrolyte of said battery is a liquid charged with lithium ions confined in said porous layers, each of the three porous layers being free of binder and having a porosity comprised between 20% and 70% by volume.

摘要: An energy storage module includes: a plurality of battery cells arranged in a length direction, each of the battery cells including a vent; a plurality of insulation spacers, at least one of the insulation spacers being located between long side surfaces of an adjacent pair of the battery cells; a cover member; a top plate coupled to a top portion of the cover member and including ducts respectively corresponding to the vents of the battery cells and including opening holes respectively corresponding to the insulation spacers; a top cover coupled to a top portion of the top plate and including discharge holes located in an exhaust area and respectively corresponding to the ducts; and an extinguisher sheet located between the top cover and the top plate, configured to emit a fire extinguishing agent at a temperature exceeding a certain temperature and including opening holes located to correspond to the ducts.

The separator includes: a porous substrate; and an inorganic particle layer formed on at least one surface of the porous substrate, wherein a release rate of the inorganic particle layer is 70% or more when measured by immersing the separator in a water tank at room temperature and then subjecting the separator to sonication under conditions of a frequency of 40 kHz, an output of 1,000 W, and an application time of 60 seconds.

摘要: New or improved battery separators for lead-acid batteries that include a carbon or mineral additive applied to the separator. In possibly preferred embodiments, the battery separator may include engineered carbon materials applied to the battery separator to modify sulfate crystal formation while decreasing the detrimental consequences of excessive gas evolution into the negative electrode itself. In one embodiment, a method of enhancing the lead-acid energy storage performance of a lead-acid battery may include delivering carbon to the negative active material surface of the battery separator where the carbon may effectively enhance charge acceptance and improve life cycle performance of a lead-acid battery.

The shell phase consists of one or more phases. A constituent material of the core phase includes a pyrochlore solid electrolyte represented by a composition formula of Aa2−αAb(1+α)/3B2O7−βXβ, where Aa is an alkali metal, Ab is a lanthanoid, B is a cationic metal, and X is an anion that is substitutable with O. A constituent material of the shell phase includes a material having a chemical composition including Li and different from a chemical composition of the pyrochlore solid electrolyte, and having a melting point lower than a melting point of the pyrochlore solid electrolyte.

摘要: Provided is a lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode layer composed of a lithium complex oxide sintered body, a negative electrode layer composed of a titanium-containing sintered body, a ceramic separator interposed therebetween, an electrolytic solution, and an exterior body including a closed space, which accommodates the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the electrolytic solution, wherein the positive electrode layer, the ceramic separator, and the negative electrode layer are bonded together, a ratio C/A of a capacity C of the positive electrode layer to a capacity A of the negative electrode layer is 1.03 to 2.30, a ratio Tc/Ta of a thickness Tc of the positive electrode layer to a thickness Ta of the negative electrode layer is 0.50 to 2.00, the thickness Tc is 50 to 1000 μm, and the thickness Ta is 50 to 1200 μm.
