Abstract: An electrical connector comprising a first connector housing having a first side configured for connection to a complementary connector, and a second side, with at least one opening expanding in the insertion direction to a cavity, at least a second connector housing which can be held in the cavity of the first connector housing, a seal that is attachable to the second side of the first the connector housing, a seal holder that holds the seal at the second side of the first connector housing, wherein the seal comprises at least one opening aligned with the opening of the first connector housing in the insertion direction, and wherein the opening in the seal is smaller than the opening in the first connector housing.
