Abstract: A heat exchanger includes tubes through which a first fluid flows, and a corrugated fin configured to improve a heat exchange efficiency between the first fluid flowing through the tubes and a second fluid flowing outside of the tubes. The corrugated fin includes bending portions connected to adjacent two tubes of the tubes and fin body portions extending between the bending portions. Each of the fin body portions includes grooves on a surface thereof and a protrusion. Each of the grooves extends in an extending direction from one of the adjacent two tubes toward the other. The protrusion is disposed at an intermediate position of at least one of the grooves between the adjacent two tubes in the extending direction. The protrusion protrudes from a bottom of the at least one of the grooves toward the surface.

Abstract: A refrigerant evaporator includes: a first heat exchange part in which refrigerant flows; a second heat exchange part in which the refrigerant flows; a first tank arranged below the first heat exchange part to distribute the refrigerant to the first heat exchange part; a second tank arranged below the second heat exchange part to collect the refrigerant flowing through the second heat exchange part; and a third tank joined to the first tank and the second tank to introduce the refrigerant collected by the second tank to the first tank. A clearance is defined among the first tank, the second tank, and the third tank. At least one of a joint portion between the first tank and the third tank and a joint portion between the second tank and the third tank defines a drainage passage to discharge water trapped in the clearance.

Abstract: The evaporator unit includes an ejector, a discharge-side evaporator, and a suction-side evaporator. The discharge-side evaporator includes discharge-side tubes and a discharge-side tank. The discharge-side tank defines a discharge-side distribution chamber therein which distributes refrigerant to the discharge-side tubes. A partition plate is disposed in the discharge-side distribution chamber and divides the discharge-side distribution chamber into an ejector-side distribution chamber and a tube-side distribution chamber. The partition plate includes a communication hole through which the ejector-side distribution chamber and the tube-side distribution chamber are in fluid communication with each other. The partition plate includes a first portion, a second portion, a third portion, a fourth portion, and a fifth portion. The communication hole has an open area that is larger in each of the first portion, the third portion and the fifth portion than in each of the second portion and the fourth portion.
