    摘要: A modular utility box system includes separate supply and drain boxes. The supply box has at least one supply opening and the drain box has a drain opening but no supply openings. The supply and drain boxes are interconnectable by a generally U-shaped clip having legs spaced apart a distance selected to accept the narrow dimension of a wall stud therebetween so that the supply and drain boxes may be mounted on opposite sides of a stud. The clip also spaces the supply and drain boxes in the proper vertical and horizontal alignment to facilitate securement of a cover plate to the boxes once installed. The clips engage the boxes to permit interconnected of the boxes in multiple orientations. Elongate brackets may be used to support the erboxes between adjacent studs.

    摘要: A two-part sillcock includes interior and exterior sillcock members selectively coupled to actuate a valve that controls fluid flow to a faucet. The interior sillcock member includes a flanged housing having an inlet, an outlet, and a valve with a stem including a coupling at the outlet end. The coupling is supported within the housing by an adapter adjacent the outlet end. The exterior sillcock member includes a flanged faucet including a handle shaft with a coupling at the inlet end. An adapter adjacent the housing outlet supports the valve stem coupling and guides and receives the faucet handle shaft coupling for engagement of the couplings. When the exterior and interior sillcock flanges are connected, the faucet handle shaft coupling is connected with the valve stem coupling, so that movement of the handle controls operation of the valve. A dual two-part sillcock includes two sillcocks connected by a mixing assembly.

    摘要: A breakaway closure member for removably covering an opening in a plumbing device, such as a laundry box, pressure test cap, floor drain, shower drain, closet flange, or the like includes a circular disc with a peripheral rim and a hollow nipple extending outwardly from the circular disc. The peripheral rim is connected to the plumbing device by a thin web or area of reduced thickness. The nipple is radially outwardly offset from the center of the disc so as to be generally adjacent or tangent to the peripheral rim. If the nipple is radially compressed, such as by squeezing with a pair of pliers, the peripheral rim is pulled radially inward in an area proximate the nipple, thereby creating a crack in the area of reduced thickness.

    摘要: A two-part housing interconnects inlet and outlet fittings in fixed relation to form a valve body having an elongate internal chamber. The chamber includes a piston having a seal and cyclically slidable from a closed, flow-restricting position, to an open position. A cam within the chamber engages a follower on the piston outer surface and is driven by an external handle. Certain valve bodies are formed by connecting inlet and outlet fittings. An actuator includes a two-part collapsible cam insertable through the chamber and into a bonnet. Following piston installation, the cam is extended by an external handle to engage a follower on the piston surface. Another actuator includes a body-encircling ring having a cam track on the interior surface. One end of a follower engages the track and another end engages the piston. Rotation of the ring and track drives the piston within the chamber to control liquid flow through the valve.
