摘要： An improved fill valve has a pivot valve body that is pivotally suspended immediately below a float housing and is movable between two positions. In a first position, the pivot valve body blocks the flow of water from the float housing. In a second position, the pivot body allows the flow of water from the float housing. The pivot valve body has two top compartments, each separated from the other by a wall. The first compartment retains an amount of water in it. The second compartment functions as a water flow restriction apparatus and includes an upwardly-extending member for sealing off a check valve that is disposed within the bottom of the float housing. The fill valve also includes a pressure compensating drip emitter that allows water to trickle into the float housing at a very slow rate.

摘要： An overflow device for a bathtub with an overflow inlet arranged for mounting in a conventional overflow hole of the bathtub and a valve connected between a water supply and a conventional bath tap. A spring can be used to change the valve from its open state to its closed state. A float and trigger lever can detect water that has entered the overflow inlet and trigger the device to change, using the stored spring energy, from a set state in which the valve is open to a triggered state in which the valve is closed. A manually operable resetting element can be operated by a user to replenish the spring with energy and return the device to the set state. The device can be permanently plumbed in and the bulk of the device can be hidden from view outside the bathtub.

Upon finding vacuum the deposit indicates that water was used for a normal bowl discharge or because the liquid leaked by the drain pipe because of anomalies in the discharge system, this valve will supply only what's necessary to fill the toilet bowl and tank to do a required flush, this valve won't supply water if the knob is not actuated to open the valve, or the lever to perform the same function.

摘要： A combination of a toilet and an anti refill device, the toilet comprises a bowl, a tank connected to the bowl for storing water and to supply the stored water to the bowl, a flushing structure which releases water from the tank into the bowl, a supply valve for refilling the tank with water after the flushing structure has released all the water into the bowl and a float structure for activating and deactivating the supply valve by floating in the water so that when the water is low the supply valve is activated and when the water is full the supply valve is deactivated. The anti refill device comprises a lock arm attached to the float structure and has an end, a lock device arranged to cooperate with end for controlling the lock arm and a structure activated by the flush structure which activates the lock device and the end to release the lock arm so the float arm lowers and the supply valve can fill the tank after flushing. The device is arranged to stop the float structure from activating the supply valve when the flushing structure is not activated. The lock arm is held in place by the lock device and the end such that the float structure does not activate the supply valve, wherein the end and the lock device engage to define a ratchet in which a plurality of teeth have a first side so that the lock arm slides against the lock device so that the float arm can activate the supply valve and a second side of the teeth being at an angle such that the float arm is prevented from lowering.

摘要： A leak preventing detent apparatus for a toilet flush valve assembly in which an inlet valve (13) to a toilet flush tank (11) is controlled by an inlet valve control device (14, 14a, 16, 17), and an outlet flush valve (21) is controlled by a flush lever (19). The detent apparatus includes a follower member (28) that is moved in response to movement of the flush lever at the initiation of a flush cycle, and a detent (25) that is operative to prevent opening of an inlet valve (26) except when a flush cycle is deliberately initiated. In a preferred form of the invention, a primary inlet valve (26) is provided upstream of the usual inlet valve (13) that is controlled by an inlet valve control device, such as a float (14, 14a, 16, 17), and the detent apparatus effectively cooperates with the primary inlet valve to maintain it closed unless a flush cycle is deliberately initiated. The detent member may be hydraulically damped (37-42) to provide a timed delay of its movement into inlet valve closing position. In the preferred form of the invention, the leak preventing apparatus is capable of preventing inflow of water into a toilet flush tank regardless of the position or condition of the inlet valve control device, or the outlet flush valve from the tank, or the usual water inlet valve, unless the flush lever is operated to deliberately initiate a flush cycle. In another form of the invention, the detent member (45, 58, 65, 80, 90, 100) acts directly on the inlet valve (13) to maintain it closed until a flush cycle is deliberately initiated.

摘要： An attachment for float operated valves in a water closet of commode is set forth. In the water closet, the rising water on filling moves a floating bulb or ring which is connected with an arm. The adapter of this invention includes a mounting ring for attachment, a mounting post supported by the ring, and a rotatable hanging pendulum which supports a locking shoulder wherein the shoulder hooks the arm moved by the float. That prevents leakage after the water closet has been filled. On flushing, a chain connects to the flush mechanism so that the hanging pendulum and locking shoulder are pulled from the arm to permit float operation.
