摘要： A flush system includes a meter valve, a first pipe, a vacuum breaker, a second pipe, and a ball valve assembly. The meter valve defines a selectively openable outlet. The first pipe is in fluid communication with the meter valve and a water supply source. The vacuum breaker is disposed within the first pipe upstream of the meter valve and oriented to prevent backflow from the meter valve to the water supply source. The second pipe extends from a wall and is downstream from the supply source. The ball valve assembly is disposed between the first pipe and the second pipe upstream of the vacuum breaker to facilitate fluid communication between the first pipe and the second pipe and to selectively isolate the meter valve from the water supply source.

The plumbing fitting assemblies use a male and female fitting combination that enables a user or installer to make a sealed connection on an internal diameter of a female part or receiving end by way of an o-ringed shank on a male part or insert end. A connecting device is rotatably attached to the male end. The connecting device also engages to an outer surface of the female part such that the sealed fitting assemblies will not disconnect under normal pressure of a fluid or air working through the assemblies.

摘要： This invention relates to an improved injector/valve combination which permits nearly immediate response time to an actuator signal. Such a combination is particularly suited for injecting colorants into polyurethane slabstock foam and permits a substantial reduction in foam waste due to low colorations during an on/off cycle. Specifically, this invention combination comprises a novel ball valve which allows for instantaneous shut-off and -on without appreciable leakage or pressure drop and without the need to utilize a high throughput flow rate. Such a ball valve is used in combination with an injector which is actually attached to the valve, the configuration which permits continuous use and instantaneous on/off without a deleterious pressure drop and minimizes the possibility of turbulence as the liquid polymeric colorant flows through the injector. The ball valve, the attached injector configuration, the coloring apparatus comprising the inventive ball valve and/or the attached injector configuration, and the slabstock foam colored through the utilization of such an apparatus are also contemplated within this invention.

摘要： Plug-type angle valve comprising a valve body and a unitary valve plug formed of a plastic material. The valve body has upper and lower trunnion seats and at least two fluid ports, one being a control port located at a position intermediate the trunnion seats. Another of the ports is an angularly displaced lower port extending through the lower trunnion seat. The valve plug has upper and lower trunnion sections journaled in the trunnion seats and an intermediate spherical control section between the trunnion sections and located adjacent the control port. A control passage extends from a lower opening in the valve plug aligned with the lower port to a second opening in the intermediate section of the valve plug. The valve plug is rotatable between a valve open position in which the section opening in the valve plug is aligned with the control port, position, and a second angular position in which the plug opening is displaced from the control port so that the outer surface of the intermediate section closes the control port.

摘要： A fluid coupler comprises a ball valve a through hole provided between a female coupler body and a valve holding casing connected to the female coupler body and surrounding the ball. The ball valve has a first flat sliding surface formed on a spherical outer surface of the ball valve which extends in a direction normal to a rotational axis of the ball valve, and a flat stop surface raised from the first flat sliding surface and reaching said spherical outer surface of said ball valve, the first flat sliding surface and the flat stop surface together defining a recess. The valve holding casing has an alignment portion formed on and raised from an interior surface thereof. The alignment portion has a second flat sliding surface slidably engaged with said first flat sliding surface. The flat stop surface is adapted to engage with the alignment portion to limit the rotational movement of the ball valve.
