Abstract: An air valve structure arranged on a base comprises an air plug and a state-switching component. The air plug is arranged in an air chamber in an axial direction. The air plug includes a closing state to close the air hole, and an opening state to open the air hole. The state-switching component comprises a driving member that links the air plug, a shape-memory alloy (SMA) wire connected with the driving member, and at least one conductive member connected with the SMA wire. The driving member exerts an acting force to the air plug based on a condition of electricity provided by the conductive member for the SMA wire. The direction of the acting force is non-parallel with the axial direction and the air plug is moved and changed between the closing state and the opening state by the acting force.

Abstract: A valve device includes a control device adapted to control a valve without being supplied with electricity. The control device includes at least one rotatable control cam having an outer periphery with a concave and convex shape, and a driving device adapted to rotate the control cam only in a first rotational direction, out of the first rotational direction and a second rotational direction opposite from the first rotational direction, by being supplied with a pressurized medium. The valve is placed such that a switch portion comes in contact with the outer peripheral portion of the control cam, in order that the valve is opened and closed by the control cam being rotated.

Abstract: An internal valve includes a valve body, a valve stem, a poppet valve, and a bleed valve. The bleed valve includes a body with a bore. A spring seat fits within the bore and is coupled to the valve stem, and includes a guide sized to receive the valve stem and a flow aperture. The flow aperture defines a connecting bleed path that fluidly connects a bleed flow path and a bleed outlet. The valve stem shifts from a first position where the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position where the bleed valve is open and the poppet valve is closed, and a third position where the poppet valve is open and the bleed valve is closed. A spring disposed in the bore bears against the spring seat and is arranged to close the poppet valve and open the bleed valve.

Abstract: The driving mechanism has a tubular housing coupled to a control valve and housing an activating cylinder and an activated cylinder, cooperating with each other and respectively coupled to a rod of a wheel and a sealing device. Abstract: A gas shut-off valve for installation in gas meters, has a valve disk that can be moved in the longitudinal direction with respect to its valve seat. The movement is realized by a linear unit held in the longitudinal direction in a valve casing, which is actuated by an electric motor via reduction gearing. The valve seat has a lip seal. Abstract: A vapor purge system having a tank isolation valve and a canister vent valve, where each valve includes a latching mechanism for maintaining the valves in an open position. A diagnostic test is performed on the purge system to prove that each of the valves are functioning correctly. Using latching valves in these applications reduces electricity draw from the battery and reduces electrical interference with integrated pressure sensors. The fuel tank is sealed by the tank isolation valve between the fuel tank and a vapor storage canister, and the canister vent valve provides sealing between the canister and the atmosphere, and controls venting of the canister. The tank isolation valve reduces power consumption from the battery, while the valve is being held in either an open position or a closed position by the latching mechanism, and uses only a single pulse of voltage to change the state of the valve.
