An apparatus for protection switching in an optical transport network (OTN) includes: a working path interface module configured to check, via a working path for protection switching, connectivity of a first end node and a corresponding second end node; and a protecting path interface module configured to check connectivity of the first end node and the second node via a protection path for protection switching. Upon confirming the connectivity, the working path interface module and the protection path interface module exchange bandwidth resize (BWR) coordination information with each other and simultaneously output an ODUflex bandwidth control signal based on the exchanged BWR coordination information.

Provided are a method and an apparatus for optimizing the performance of an optical transceiver, and the gist is as follows: receiving an optical input and converting the optical input into electrical signals; receiving a performance value and a reference clock of the electrical signals from a DSP part; generating a plurality of clocks by using the reference clock; determining ADC sampling timings of a plurality of ADCs on the basis of phases of the plurality of clocks applied to the plurality of ADCs; and compensating, on the basis of the determined ADC sampling timings, for differences in physical length between output signals of the plurality of ADCs.

Provided is a linear automatic protection switching (APS) apparatus and method that minimizes a data loss in an optical transport network (OTN) system, the apparatus and method that may maintain time synchronization by transmitting/receiving time synchronization signals between APS apparatuses of a working path and a redundant path, and transmitting/receiving time synchronization signals between local and remote APS apparatuses.

The present invention suggests a data parallel processing device that performs parallel processing on input data by varying a flow ID generating manner depending on a loading degree of the processor in the multi-processor structure configured by processor array. The suggested device includes a flow ID generating unit which generates a flow ID for input data which is differentiated in accordance with a status of a buffer; a data allocating unit which allocates data having the same flow ID to a specified processor; and a data processing unit which sequentially processes data allocated to each processor so that the parallel processing performance is improved as compared with the related art.
