    Abstract: Disclosed are an overhead monitoring method and apparatus, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The method may include: receiving a flexible Ethernet (FlexE) signals from one or more PHY interfaces respectively; de-interleaving each FlexE signal with the transmission rate of N*Y Gbps in the received FlexE signals respectively into N PHY signals each having a transmission rate of Y Gbps; selecting M valid data signals from the FlexE signal with the transmission rate being the target transmission rate in the received FlexE signals and the de-interleaved PHY signals with the transmission rate of Y Gbps; removing each pad from each of the M valid data signals, performing frame delimitation on each of the M valid data signals, and extracting each FlexE overhead from each of the M valid data signals; and generating a linear overhead frame based on the extracted FlexE overheads, and outputting the linear overhead frame.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, a first computing device detects a loss of a connection to a first source of timing information that the first computing device and a second computing device use to maintain synchronization with a first clock and a second clock. The first computing device receives a second source of timing information from the second computing device. The second source of timing information is also being transmitted to a third computing device. The first computing device uses the second source of timing information to determine a first timestamp and determines a second timestamp from the first clock. The first computing device uses the first timestamp and the second timestamp to adjust a rate of the first clock where the first clock is used to transmit the second source of timing information from the second computing device to the third computing device.

    Abstract: A first reception processing unit performs a process of receiving a first signal transmitted on a first transmission line, a second reception processing unit performs a process of receiving a second signal transmitted on a second transmission line, and an output speed control unit controls output speeds of the first signal and the second signal subjected to the reception process. A system switching unit selects and outputs the first signal or the second signal subjected to a reception process, and an output processing unit performs a process for output to another apparatus on the output from the system switching unit. A reception side clock output unit outputs a clock signal giving a processing timing of each process, and a clock frequency control unit adjusts a frequency of the clock signal giving the processing timing to the output processing unit. A frequency adjustment range calculation unit calculates an adjustment range of the frequency based on frequency deviation accuracy of the reception side clock output unit, frequency deviation accuracy of a transmission side clock output unit that outputs a clock signal giving a processing timing to a transmission process at a transmission apparatus on the transmission side, and a prescribed value of a frequency deviation.
